If I want to go on an excursion which requires I meet on the Prominade deck at 9 a.m., and I have to drop off my kids at the clubs at Skuttle's Cove at 9 a.m., what do I do first???? I mean, I can't be at 2 places at the same time.... Sorry, 1st timer here, just trying to sort it all out...

which excursion are you doing?
I would assume you could hook the children up and then go back to the excursion meeting place. Disney usually is pretty good about coordinating the childrens' programs with adult ones. Is there another adult who could check your kids in while you check in for the excursion?

I was thinking of the nature walk/kayak excursion.... my dh would be going on it with me as well. Would one of us go off ship to CC and check the kids in while the other checks into the excursion? Would this hold up the works with getting the excursion started?
Thanks for responding!!

I would call DCL to check but my guess is they have already prethought how to coordinate the excursion. I saw that it is also offered at 12:45 which might be an option so you could get the kids checked in.

Thanks again, Ann. I think the afternoon one would be too hot for me (in June) but also, you have to check the kids OUT of the clubs by 3:00, and since the afternoon excursion starts at 12:45, I don't think we would be back in time to check them out! You're probably right, though, I'm sure DCL has already figured it all out and I'm fretting for nothing!:o

yeah just give them a call. They really are great about scheduling things to work in regards to excursions vs. kidsclub, shows vs. kidsclub etc. I am sure it will be fine!

Just FYI: last year we booked the couple's massage for the earliest available time (9:30?) on Castaway Cay. They had us meet at the spa at 9:00, take the elevator down with the spa person, jump on the tram with her, jump off, dh dropped the kids while the rest of us walked to the adult tram and then we went to the adult beach. It was no big deal that we had to drop the kids off first so I'm sure they could work it out for other excursions as well.

What is this about having to check the kids out at 3pm??? Are there certain times you have to take the kids out or something?

BBB this only applies on CC day. It's the only day the kids programs aren't on the ship, and they don't want to be responsible for your kid's KTTW cards (required to get on and off the ship). You take your kids off the ship at CC, check them into the clubs at Scuttle's Cove (on the island). Then they close the club at Scuttle's cove at 3:00 or so, and you must check your child back on the ship. You can check them back into the club once they've moved back on board. Check Barb and Tony's site for the kids navigators to give you some idea on the times.

Hope this helps. Lisa

BWVDenise,

I'm planning the same excursion as you except we are going in October. When you get back, could you let us know how they handle the kids club and doing the excursion? I too was wondering how to drop off the kids and make it to the excursion on time.

I would really appreciate it. Thanks
