Minimum age for the second person on back is 8. My son is 8. Thinking of taking him with. Any folks here do it? How long is the adventure? Interesting and fun for kids that age?
The choppier the better! That makes it more fun.My DS did this last year when he was 18 and enjoyed it. It was very choppy that day so they offered to let them cancel with no fee if they wanted to but he did it and had a ball.

Goggles!!! dont' really need footwar, but the salt water on the eyes is really tough!! So either goggles or sunglasses that have a strap to stay on your head in the wind.We have this excursion booked during our December Dream cruise..... Any tips on footwear/clothing? Just swimsuits and water shoes? Or anybody have other recommendations?
We have jetskis at home. It is a tshirt/water **** (avoids life jacket chaffing), swim attire (trunks or bathing suit), water shoes or sandals (to avoid issues with hot sideboards, seats, and to provide additional cushion while jumping the waves), and sunglasses with a strap (generally a strap that allows the items to float in water). We have this excursion booked during our December Dream cruise..... If this is your only event that needs a floaty strap you may want to skip it to avoid the cost, especially since you likely shouldn't be doing risky maneuvers causing them to fall off. I would also recommend against goggles or ski masks. They will likely fog up and the water spray sits on it, especially with salt mixed in reducing visibility.
We generally would do day trips, so the extra precautions for longer rides. I don't know how long this particular excursion is. If you are used to riding at home, then this should be a breeze for certain. We also have jet skis at home, but never use anything but our swimwear (bathing suits/trunks) and sunglasses! Would you say that this excursion is somewhat comparable to a jet ski ride at home? I would assume if we're used to riding at home, the shoes and shirt thing wouldn't be as big of a deal?
