Castaway Cay Excursions

Hi!

We are sailing on The Wonder for our very first Disney cruise on January 8th. We are looking at different excursions for Castaway Cay and Nassau. The ones that look the most interesting to use are: the snorkeling on your own for the day at Castaway Cay, the snorkeling with the group where they take you out on a sixty-foot plus catamaran, and also the paddle boats. Has anyone been on any of these excursions? We have never been snorkeling before, however we both are great swimmers. The all day snorkeling is about thirty dollars and seems to be the best deal. The other snorkeling excursion is about sixty something dollars per person. I would love to hear what anyone thinks about the different excursions that are offered and what they might recommend. We are two adults (thirty years old) without any children. Also, if anyone knows what movies will be showing on The Wonder for January 8th that would be fantastic.

Buy your own snorkel equipment and snorkel for free at CC. I do it every time I sail....sometimes both morning and afternoon. Disney provides free snorkel vests (required). The rest of the fee is for equipment rental.
