I read on the Disney excursion page that to Parasail, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Does this mean on the boat, or do both people go up together? My DS (11) really wants to do this, but does not meet the 90 pound weight. He is worried he won't be able to gain 20 pounds in 5 weeks and I really don't want him trying to.
About the banana boat ride, Disney says that kids must be 8 yo and be able to swim. While my son can swim, he is not a strong swimmer. Is there a chance he may fall off (I think this is probably very possible) and if he does, would he have to swim to shore or tread water for very long until picked up by someone? I think we would enjoy this ride, but I don't want him scared to death about having to swim to shore either.
TIA
