I was hoping to get the Jet Ski excursion for our cruise the end of May. It wasn't offered. Wonder why?

DCL partners with local vendors to offer many of those excursions. So it's likely that the vendor isn't offering it, or, the vendor hasn't set their schedule that far our. Keep checking back, as things sometimes open up closer to sailing.

Just FYI. I signed up for the Castaway Cay Jet Ski excursion several times over the years. Not once did we actually get to go out due to wind/weather. If I recall, the time periods were between late-February and May. It was disappointing each time. However, one year Royal Caribbean did send us out on a jet ski excursion during a very choppy, windy period, and it was miserable. In retrospect, I think Disney made the right call.

We tried to jet ski for the first time last August and it was canceled due to high winds. Total bummer as we took advantage of the $250 onboard credit plus $75 from our TA. Ended up doing a shopping spree instead lol

Just a note from visiting Castaway now 14 different times, just expect that it will be highly LIKELY any activity you have booked on the open sea will be cancelled. I have booked banana boats, parasailing, deep sea fishing, etc, during all times of the year and every single activity was cancelled for weather or high seas.

In retrospect, that is the same for me. We have been to Castaway Cay 20 times and have only actually been able to participate in one ocean/boat/jet ski type excursion (snorkeling). All the rest were cancelled.
