Castaway Cay Club?

Will someone please tell me what the Castaway Cay Club is and how it is you become a member? Are there any benefits to this, or is it just an honorary title?

You become a member as soon as you have cruised once on DCL.

The only perks they are currently offering is a gift when you cruise the next time, and a members only party on the ship. I think the gift is a beach towel and a couple of trading pins right now.

All you gotta do is cruise DCL once and you're in...

But it's actually Castaway Club, not Castaway Cay Club. Castaway Cay is the name of DCL's private island.

Here is a link to the current gifts. You also get invited to a return cruiser reception onboard with the Captain and senior officers which has complimentary drinks and snacks.

Just back from the 3/15 western. We had 2 rooms and received 2 towels and 4 pins. We are booked for the 3/20/04 eastern. Will we get towels again next year? We have 6 in our family so we wouldn't mind getting more towels. We also had a nice treat from Dreams Unlimited in each room.

Yep, we have gotten the gifts a few years in a row. They change the gifts now and then. I also have a very large, nice blue/white DCL logo tote/beach bag and a black DCL logo gym bag that were free gifts at one time.
