I know you're required to show your drivers license at ports of call, but does this include Castaway Cay? I really don't want to try to watch that while enjoying the water and the beach and I don't recall from our last cruise. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you need your photo ID and KTTW card on Castaway Cay.

On my cruises to CC they announce that everyone over 18 needs a picture ID and everyone!!! needs their key card (children also)

On our recent cruise a guy had to stop disembarking at CC and o back and get his ID, yes they did check photos when we returned to ship from the island. This was in July.

Thanks everyone. Next question, how you you keep it secure while you're enjoying?

Since the KTTW card and my driver's license are plastic, I just stick it in my swimsuit. For some reason, there's not a whole lot of room in the top of my suit :rolleyes1 so they don't fall out.

:cutie:

Adults need KTTW and photo ID, minors need KTTW only. My stuff is plastic. I put it in a supposedly water tight case which has a cord to put around my neck....and as my dear friend would say, I put the case in Fort Knox. At least I don't store my cell phone there like she does when she's lecturing!

If you gat a cabana a safe like is in the rooms is in the cabana.

DCL should consider some type of a locker area like they have at the water parks - just a thought.

We were told to carry photo ID to CC with us, but they only scanned our KTTW card going out and coming in. I would still carry it as I would hate to have to go back and get it and miss island time.

Anyone know why they don't just print your photo they take at the embarkation port onto the KTTW card?

Seems like it would just save a lot of hassle and prevent any fraud if someone tried to use someone else's KTTW card for drinks etc?

Your photo comes up on the computers when it is swiped. But you still need the photo ID when going in to a foreign country. Even if the photo was printed on the KTTW card it would probably not be very good quality.

Exactly. As much as it feels like home, CC is another country :)

And kcashner... Fort Knox? That's hilarious! Made me laugh out loud!
