Top time is about 18 min. I did 21 and was done by 10:30. It all depends on if the ship docks on time and how fast you plan to run. It is only a few minutes to snorkel from the end of the run.

If I sign up to do it can my dh and kids get off the ship with me? I want someone there to take photos of me crossing (collapsing) the finish line. Oh and having someone to carry me back to the ship would be handy too lol

If you are just going to spectate can you also meet at the lounge so you exit the ship at the same time?

We were getting off the ship as normal people were getting off the ship. So yes, they can get off the ship, too.

DH and DS were still asleep when I left for the meet-up, it took awhile for our meet-up to get going, for the bib numbers to be given out, etc etc, it was slow to get off the ship. By the time I was on the course DH and DS were finally leaving the ship, then meeting Jack Sparrow and giving me updates on the Wave phone.

I'm a slow runner and I think I finished at 46 minutes, and they got there just a few minutes later. We could have coordinated a bit better if it was important to me to have them there, but it wasn't.

So yes, you can coordinate them being off the ship and to the start/finish line.

Thanks for all the help on this all, it's been so helpful. I am going to be the t-shirt collector and beach place staker outer! I do hope DB misses nothing cool happening though especially as it is our first time there.
