Castaway Cay 5K question

We are on the Jan 8, 2018 Dream. I know this is right after the WDW Marathon. DH wanted to do the unofficial 5k (he's not doing any races at WDW that weekend). How does that one work? Will there only be the official Run Disney one or both?

When we did the challenge they had the official 5K for those signed up for and running the challenge first (we got off the ship in the dark), then a second one for regular guests.

You know what...Im feeling magical today.

If you PM me your address I'll mail you my medal if you want it. I race all the time and have medals from races around the world and its not that I don't want the 5K medal but someone else might appreciate it more. If you're interested PM me, if not no biggie.

If I really wanted the medal I know it's be upset I didnt get one.

That is one of the sweetest things ever. You have a giant heart. Peace to you. I'm going to try this on my first cruise in June 2018. I've been"running" for about a month now. So excited to "earn" a medal.
