Cast member with silver pass

Hi we off to DLP next week for 3 nights for the first time. I work at the UK Disney's head office and I'm referred as a cast member (name for staff who work for disney). I will be taking my ID card & Silver pass which entitles me to 20% off food & merchandise. My question is whether to use my silver pass or buy HB vouchers? Does my silver pass work in all the restaurants in the resort and will the staff know what it is?

Any advice from other cast members will be of great help!!

Personally I'd use the 20% discount instead as I think you'll save more in the long run, although you could buy HB vouchers and eat off of the A La Carte menu's and use your 20% off in conjunction with the vouchers.

You shouldn't have too many problems with it as I'm guessing (as I'm not a CM myself) it works like Annual Passes in terms of discount (they swipe the card throught the till and it automatically takes the discount off)

I'd be tempted to use it as soon as I got to the park to buy a pen or something similar, and if you get any problems head straight to City Hall and I'm sure they'd be able to help you.
