cast Member discounted room - can i add dining plan?

title says it all. i have a room booked with a cast member discount for june. am i able to add the dining plan? i know i can if i do an annual pass discount, so i was wondering if it would be similar.

if not, no biggie, i have the tables in wonderland. but i'm going for my 30th bday and thought it would be nice to do the deluxe plan.

and i know i could call and ask, but i'm at work and getting on the computer quick is easier than waiting on hold on the phone forever

thanks for the quick reply! that's what i was thinking, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. probably better this way, i won't have to worry about making sure we "get the most" out of any credits. tables in wonderland has never let me down before.

Actually, the PP is incorrect. You can add the Dining Plan at the discounted castmember rate. Just have the castmember call their reservation line and have it added on. My DD is a CM and I have done this 3 or 4 times already. The only thing I couldn't do is get DxDP, but I was able to add regular DDP.

It has to be offered at the time you go for castmembers, though. I understand from friends that they offer the DDP discounted for castmembers sometimes, but not all the time. The cast member will need to check. also, they don't always have access to all three dining plans, so you may not be able to get the deluxe.

We tried to do this in Jan. 06 and were told no, we couldn't get DDP even though we wanted to pay for it. I guess it was because we weren't buying any park tix. Hopefully this has changed since then.

We did get to use her dining discount at many locations by eating earlier or later.
