such a shame, my sympathies to the family

he truly was a kind force here, always helped me puzzle out whatever Q i had re DVC, never once being sanctimonious even though im sure he had had 'been there & done that' a gazillion times before...his presence will be missed.

I was so touched that the boards would go dark in honor of Bill. Like so many others he answered so many of my questions before we joined DVC this year. We will be sure to think of him as we pass by OKW this fall on our first ever DVC trip. Our prayers are with his family has he watches down on them from the "magic kingdom" in the sky.

I've just returned from Disney and learned of Bill's passing. I lost my Father in much the same way. No words can abate such a loss, but my prayers are with you and your family.

It's good to hear from you John. I'm glad the tributes posted here on the DIS are helping the family get through this difficult time. Bill was such an amazing man, so knowledgeable and creative, so generous and helpful. I still can't quite believe he is gone.

I'm sooo sorry for your loss. My MIL is a DVC owner and was telling me about your borther, John. Anytime we lose someone we love, it's hard. I'm glad the doctors told his wife that he didn't suffer. From the few pics I've seen of him in some siggies, he looks like he was a happy go lucky guy!! I didn't get a chance to view the memorial the DIS had for him, but I heard that it was really nice.

From one DISer, human, "friend" in spirit, We are ALL here if you need us....even the ones you've never talked to before..like me!!

Peg, John, I am not a DVC member, but just a fellow DIS board member. My sincere condolences on the loss of your husband, brother, and to all your families and Bill's many friends also. 's

I did have the pleasure of meeting up with Bill several times, at a few Indy DIS meets I organized several years back, and to sort of unofficially help Bill a bit on the Tech board here with questions and problems folks here on the boards may have been experiencing time to time, getting to know his ways a bit more. Bill was always the consummate gentleman, never a nasty word nor gesture, always one to help anybody. He really was 'Mr Nice Guy'.

He will be dearly missed.

God speed, Bill, so glad we had the opportunity to cross life's paths and know you to a small degree.

It's hard to imagine facing coming days without a dearly loved family member & especially when losing as wonderful a person as your Bill, may you find comfort in the knowledge that he is at peace and watches over & smiles upon all of you.

Thanks for the link to the tribute.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bills Family. I only posted once or twice ;But he always knew the answer right away, or knew who to refer me to. Everyone here is like a big friendly community and the loss of one affects us all.
