hi
Can anybody tell me if there is cashpoints in the two parks (i'm sure there was one last time i went) and where they are located????
Was advised by the bank to withdraw money whilst i was there as i'll get a better rate.:confused3

Disney Village just to the right of Hurricanes as you look at it. In the arcades on Main Street for defo.

We exchanged £80 for 100 euros at the bank before we went. At the studios, we withdrew another 100 euros and we were only charged £74 on our statement!

The Studios cashpoint is to your right when you enter the park over by quest relations :)

Theres also a cash point in one of the arcades on main street

Thats great thanks for that.
Wont need to be in a rush to get Euros the day before :)

When we were there in 2006 I remember a couple of cashpoints in Adventureland as well, my son used them a few times.

Thankyou for all your replies.
I will jot them down

There is an ATM machine in front of Kolonel Hathi's restaurant (when you wlak towards Indy ride, on your right, down a couple of steps!)

Just a word of warning some banks charge you to withdraw cash abroad, so check with your bank:thumbsup2

Great info.

Thanks everyone, we always buy euros before we go and pay on the cards in the restaurants and shops... This is very useful to know:thumbsup2 .

Thanks but i'm with Nationwide and they don't charge when you are abroad that's why i'm doing it. I just did not want to get there and be stuck but i'm sure they want you to spend as much as possible in the parks:thumbsup2 and checking the rate in the post office today it was 1.25 so i think the cashpoint is the best option:blush:

Thats ok, I know not everyone banks with Nationwide & could get a shock when they see they have been charged to withdraw cash abroad.

I always use my Nationwide CC & get my cash from M&S as they seem to have a much better rate then anywhere else (except of my CC)

Do Halifax visa electron charge? Im too scared to look lol
Or is it cheaper to just use my card to pay for stuff instead of withdrawing it.

Check with your bank before you go because if they charge you wll pay a fee either way. It is usually included in the exchange rate meaning you will get a lower rate then normal.
