cashing travellers checks at DLP

in total we are having a 15 night holiday, staying 11 nights at a campsite an hour or so away first. Therefore i don't really want to take all our spends in cash. Is there anywhere we can change TC's at DLP? If not i think i might get one of the TC credit cards, do they accept american express in DLP????

Hi,

I belive you can cash travellers cheques. ( I think you can just use them in the shops and Restaurants etc then they give you any change in Euros)

Amex is accepted so the travellers card will work.

However the cheapest option is to get hold of a Nationwide Credit card, as they don't charge any fees for using it abroad and you get the best rates possible.
