Hi

When we were at DVC HH a couple of years ago, I ran into a woman who said she had booked a 2 bedroom (October) for $99/night. (She was a DVC member)

Is there some way to find out what the member specials are for DVC members? (Anyone know how far in advance these are offered?)

I didn't see anything at dvcmember.com--but maybe I wasn't looking in the right spot.

Thank you.

I'm not sure who you spoke with, but it could have been me... we were in HH on 3 seperate trips at the $99 per night for 2 bdrms and it was the best perk we have ever gotten, but it is not a DVC perk, it is a Disney Visa perk that they have not run since 2004 (spring, I think). I know because we are anxiously awaiting it's return. :Pinkbounc

We own at 3 seperate WDW resorts and love HH but feel that in order to stay there, being an owner is only important if you want the highly valued summer season. Since we can travel in the off season and love it in the fall, we look for these bargins and pay cash or if necessary, we can use points on the 7 mo window.

Glad to see you joined DVC and hope you enjoy your ponts. Welcome Home!

It probably wasn't a "member special". There were VISA specials for that rate and also DVC promotional rates (to entice people to see and possibly buy DVC). I also recall a coupon for a special rate (there were black out dates, though) in the Birnbaum Disney Guide.

Subject to availabiity, members can get a 25% discount (off rack rate) for cash reservations booked through MS.

Best wishes -

I do remember being offered a rate of $109 for a 2 br through member services a couple of years ago.

It was around the same time that all the other promotions were going on like Disney Visa.

I know it was in the fall.

Hope this helps.
