My waitlist for the first night of my trip expires today, but I have the night on cash through MS. The gentleman I spoke to today said that I could continue to try to change the ressie to a points night even within the 5 day cancellation policy for the night booked on cash. Does MS sometimes make exceptions to the cancellation policy, because the room will still be occupied, thus it is not a true cancellation?
Has anyone had a night converted to points so close to stay and NOT been charged the cancellation on the cash ressie?
Just wondering, because if this is so, I will keep trying.
