Cash ressie at HH, ? about activities

I think I already know the answer to this, but I want to be sure. If a DVC member is staying at HH on a cash ressie, do we pay the "guest" rate on the activities instead of the member rate?

We just got back from a week at HH and we paid cash for the entire week. The girl at the front desk said that we should pay the member rate on all activities so that's what we did. Nobody ever asked to see our cards so I am willing to bet that many people just say they are members even when they are not.
