Cash reservations?

When made through MS do you have to pay for the whole week right away or do they just require a deposit?

I don't think there is a set number of months out to book but you'll likely find that if you try at 11 months there will not be much availability. They tend to open up as members trade out.

I've been able to book cash nights right at 11 months. Not sure how much availability though, as DebbieB said. Why would I book cash at 11 months? Because = before they took a look at the pricing structure, a cash night in a studio was something like $78 at Hilton Head during Thanksgiving week - actually I've gotten cash nights with member discount for this at 11 months. Not likely to get this now - I think that bargain has sailed. The cash price is now over $200 a night for that same week.
