Does anyone know where I can find the cash rates for HHI? I've tried googling every combination of words I can think of, and I just can't find it.

Thanks!

You might have to wait and call MS tomorrow. I remember trying to find it somewhere too and never did. I ended up just booking 6 nights when we were going instead of adding an extra cash night. I do not remember what I was quoted for that one night. THEN we cancelled HHI in April to go to Disney/Vero.

I did find it one day. You go to Walt Disney World, click on Where to Stay. I think there is a spot somewhere that says beach resorts, click on there and put in your dates and prices will come up. Both times I have done it the cash rate on the Disney web site was the same as a cash reservation thru DVC. I called DVC and booked through them. I have a studio in Oct on a Fri and Sat and I am paying 138.00 a nite. I booked it. Sometimes prices will come up and sometimes they don't. If not call DVC.

Before our wait list came through for points, we were quoted by MS a cash rate for a studio on a Friday in mid-August of $258 per night.

On Disney site type book a beach vacation into Search bar, you'll get a list of links, it will be link that says Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort & Disney's Vero Beach Resort/Disney Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels, there you can check availability & pricing for each location online. Try this link, hopefully it will take you directly there :

Yep, that link works. The first week I found avail. pricing was for a 2 bedroom villa during the week of Sept. 11-18 for $284 / night. It will only give prices for what's available.

Cash rate for a 2BR at HH this summer is $391.28 with the member discount.

Wow! Thanks everyone! I knew the smart folks on the DIS would be able to help me!

Last Fall, there was a great cash rate on special -- but now I can't remember if it was for Disney Visa, or AP (and I just got a studio, not sure if 2BR was available). Sorry, that's kind of non-info -- just wanted to mention that there are special, sort of last minute (but I did have some lead time), rates sometimes.

When are you going. With member discount in May, for a 2 bedroom, it is $200.00. In the past, we always paid around $360.00 in July/August for same room.

Did you call or did you just do the math based on the rack rate???

That's what I was quoted when I made the reservation and what I paid yesterday at arrival for this Friday night.

Okay..I was wondering if you were told that or just figured it out from current rates. Did that include tax..what you paid? Thanks :goodvibes

Staying here on our cash rate of $352.50/per night for a 2 bedroom PLUS applicable taxes.

We called member services back in March to find out if there were any cash rooms available.

Well, HELLO neighbor! :) Our DDs have taken over the bottom 1/2 of building 24 right next to you! The 5 grandkids went to Kid's Night Out last night and the adults enjoyed dinner at San Miguels. My SIL and I went fishing on Sunday and caught enough Spanish Mackerel for dinner that night - along with enough shark, stingrays, whiting and bluefish to feed an army of cats. :)

Don't miss the fireworks tonight around 9pm and you will have a nice view from your balcony just beyond the play area. You can see the fireworks barge out beyond the resort pier.

I spent about a half hour talking with a HH manager who may be heading for Aulani in the coming months as a castmember. He is really excited about the activity programming that will be available there (much like the wonderful programming at HH which we consider to be a hallmark of the resort). Due to it's location, Aulani will be crafted as a destination resort and DVC anticipates that most stays will be in the 7 night range - unlike the more "traditional" 5 night stay enjoyed by members at most other resorts - and the resort will be gearing up to provide a wonderful experience for guests staying at the resort with a mix of recreation, activities and relaxation for all guests (children and adults).

HH is really busy right now with a combination of guests returning after a coupe of uncertain economic years and an influx of new guests displaced from their typical gulf vacations.

Our family will here until this Sat, but DW and I have until mid-August! :teeth:

Thanks for the link. I wanted to go during Christmas break, and when I called they said everything was booked, but there are cash rooms available. The room rate is $110 a night, now if call customer service I can possibly get a discount on top on that rate?

Just called CM and the discount rate is $82 for christmas break week, but decided to spring for the 2 bedroom with a discounted rate of $147. Booked for 12/28 - 1/2 :thumbsup2

You never disappoint with your info! ;)

We love this resort--this is our second visit; our first in 2007.

We are two families traveling together and while we certainly don't want to be "stalkers":rotfl: we keep trying to guess who you are! :worship:

My DD was out on the pier this afternoon with my DH and saw some kids fishing and we wondered if that was you. Not wanting to interfere--just think it's rather cool to be with fellow Dis'ers! :woohoo:

Doc - who is the manager who might end up at Aulani? Is it Rich? We love the energy he brings to all of the recreation activities and would miss him at HHI - however, he would be a good person to help establish the Aulani programming and the resort culture.
