Cash on Castaway Cay

Is it necessary to carry cash while on Castaway Cay...or can we charge all of our purchases using our KTTW card?

You don't need to carry cash on Castaway Cay.You can use your key to the world card.

The only thing that you would need cash for is to buy stamps at the post office to mail a post card.

Actully...other than the stamps, you MUST use your KTTW....cash is not accepted.

Do the Bahamians that have a couple of shops down by the tram to Serenity Bay take the KTTW card or do you need cash there?

The only cash on Castaway Cay is with Videogal1.

To clarifly my other post....you must use your KTTW card for everything other than Bahamian vendors, stamps, hairbraiding!!!

And if you're going to be mailing postcards from CC, remember that the Post Office closes about an hour before you have to be back on the ship, so don't wait until the very last minute to drop your postcards off, or they won't get mailed.

We learned this the hard way. We ended up dropping them off at Guest Relations, and they put them in the mail for us the next time they were on CC.
