Cash nights thru MS-Housekeeping?

I've booked 4 nights at OKW on points and 2 nights on cash thru Member Services. Do I get daily housekeeping on the cash nights or is that only if booked thru CRO? Thanks.

Only if booked through CRO. If you booked at the 25% discounted rate through MS, then you get the same housekeeping schedule as a point stay.

Since member discount nights come from the points pool of room, they are treated as member stays with regards to housekeeping. They will combine your points & cash reservations for the housekeeping schedule.

Last year I booked Friday & Saturday nights as member cash, then Sunday to Thursday as points. They scheduled my trash & towel for Monday, day 4 of the combined stay. I also got keys & parking pass for the entire stay, I did not have to go back to the front desk on Sunday to get new ones like you would with a CRO stay.

This year I booked Sunday to Thursday nights on points and Friday on an AP rate through CRO. We did get full housekeeping on Friday but I had to go to the front desk to get new keys & parking pass on Friday morning. Luckily we did not have to change rooms.

Can cash (CRO) ressies be linked to point ressies so that you are guaranteed the same room? I'm assuming you'll at least have to check in twice, but it would be nice to know you didn't have to move.

They can cross reference each reservation. It's not 100% guaranteed not to move, but it's unlikely. There are some rooms they do not allow for cash, such as boardwalk view at BWV.

MS has made a strong point of saying that the resort will not guarantee that you won't have to move, if booked through CRO. They definitely guarantee you won't have to move if booked through MS (in fact, everything is linked together into one reservation and it's seamless).

That said, MS did state that I should request that the CRO reservation and the MS reservation each mention the other #.
