CASH nights - how early?

I'm booked for a Th-Su stay in Aug. and might want to make Sat. night a cash stay. Can these be booked at the 11 or 7 monht point, or are they released later? Any idea what the rate might be for a 1bdrm at OKW?

You may want to check on-line now at disney.com. Last night I was checking out possible reservations for next September, and am pretty sure that several DVC properties came up in my search.

If you are booking through CRO then you certainly can book a year ahead. Perhaps even more, that I am not sure of though.

If you are a DVC member though and want to book through Member Services, there is no set time as to when they may offer a discounted room. The Member Discount is 25% off rack rate. You can just keep calling and checking to see if one becomes available, but no guarantees. Keep in mind some room categories will not be available for cash such BWV views.

I have found the closer you are to your arrival date the better chance of getting the discount. I *think* if the inventory is still fairly high they'll make those nights more available for the discount. There is no harm booking now at the regular rate (they don't charge anything, just your CC number) and then calling a few times between now and then to see if they offer the discount.
