Cash in US Airways miles or gamble.

I've got about 52,000 miles. Do I use them to purchase two rt tickets to Orlando, or do I gamble and wait to use them to go to California later in the year?

Do you think they are going bust?

They have funding at this point until the end of June so it depends when you are planning on going. You should go to www.flyertalk.com , under miles and points go the USAirways forum and you can get lots of information on US.

Things are looking better then they did a few months ago for USAir.

I was sitting on over 100,000 US miles, and a few bump vouchers in December. I used up the bump vouchers and about 60,000 miles. I agree with CarolA, things are looking better, and I'm not in a rush to use up the rest at this point, although I don't want to accumulate that many free trips again.
