I have already got my USD prepay visa card sorted out for my trip and even loaded it with some money. My problem is that I will need some notes before I am able to get to an ATM for a tip here and there but most importantly I think I will need some quarters for tolls.

Does anyone know where in the UK I can change £ for $ and get a roll of quarters as well?

You should be able to get some change at the airport. Even if you just buy a soda with a $5 bill and ask them for a few $ worth of quarters in the change. I am fairly certain I've seen change machines at MCO but could be confusing it with another airport. A small purchase usually does the trick though and is less hassle

Just get some small denomination notes - they first toll booths out of MCO have manned lanes and they will give change and that will include some quarters.

yes.
just stick to the right of the road (might seem awkward if it's your first time driving abroad)
you will see "cash lanes" signs, and the lane of the far right will have a booth with an agent inside)

BUT note that those tolls DO NOT accept bills larger than $20

that's what we do every time. We get cash in small denominations ($10s and $20s) from home, or we withdraw at an ATM in MCO then there are 2 tolls on the north exit from MCO (528 to I4) each time we change a $20 and we get our first small bills and coins that way

There's a gas station just outside the airport, we normally stop off to buy a couple of bottles of orange (can't beat real florida orange!) and get our change that way :)

We drove down to tolls at Celebration and was unmanned, coins only. There was a slip of paper at the booth with contact details of highways people so we drove through and emailed later and explained our problem. I was paranoid that hire company would hunt us down. They came back and said no probs, toll waived.

The first toll you reach is manned, so we always ask the operator there to give us enough change for the other tolls.
