Casey's Hot Dogs - are they all beef

I'm pretty sure they are NOT all beef. Not sure if it's turkey they are mixed with.

Casey's hot dogs are the same that you will find all throughout WDW and they use to be really good. They seem to have changed the meat they were using and it does not taste good anymore. The taste did not seem "beefy" rather a mix and was very bland. Very disappointing :sad2:

They are a beef and chicken blend and they are not very tasty.

They are same same throughout WDW at every Disney-run food service. Don't expect much with the buns, either. For such a big place you'd think there would be some variety, but the folks who run Disney dining don't see it that way. I guess it doesn't matter so much when you pile a bunch of crap on the hot dogs, but I eat mine plain and the taste of the actual hot dog really matters. One of the latest creations at Caseys is the "Chicago-style" hot dog, which is on a poppy seed bun and has a tone of crap piled on it.

I've been on a personal quest to find all-beef hot dogs at WDW for months and so far the only place I've found them is at Wetzel's Pretzels on the boardwalk at Downtown Disney, and they come in a pretzel wrap, not a bun. It's beyond sad when you can no longer get a simple, traditional American hot dog at WDW.

Beef-chicken blend. Mostly chicken. Someone got the ingredients from special diets once and posted them. The regular hot dogs are about 60 percent chicken.

For the above poster - Pollo Campero's menu has all-beef hot dogs. Haven't seen anyone who says they have tried them.

No they are not all beef. I have a son who is allergic to seafood and poultry and he can't eat the hot dogs in WDW. He is already limited on what he can eat, so it really stinks that this is another item that's a "no-no" for him. I wish they'd bring back the all beef hot dog!

I wish they'd bring back a lot of things. There's some speculation that the switch to the chicken blend hot dogs was health-driven, but as you point out, they missed a few details. At the very least, they should post that the hot dogs are chicken blend, kinda like some places do when they use peanut oil. I don't know why they made this change across the board when it seems fewer people like the chicken blend. I would think they would offer a choice, but that's not how the new Disney works. If your son gets a craving for a hot dog while at WDW, shoot on over to Wetzel's Pretzels at Downtown Disney. They assured me their hot dogs (Wetzel Dogs) are 100% beef, albeit on a pretzel wrap instead of a bun.

Yes, I just checked that out. Again, it's not a Disney-run restaurant and it's at Downtown Disney (not on any dining plan, it seems, for those interested in that).

The menu indicates a beef hot dog served on a multi-grain bun. I just don't know what it is about food establishments (anywhere) these days that they can't stick to basics, or at least offer that option.
