I am looking for a counter service location at MK where my family can have a quick, low fuss lunch. Would you recommend Casey's Corner or Columbia Harbour House? Thank you.

I think because of the ages of your kids Casey's would be better.(hot dogs, fries and corn dogs. CH has more sandwich items.

I might say Casey's just cause we ate at Harbor house last week based on recommendation here and it really wasn't that good

I'd say Casey's Corner but all they have there is hot dogs but they are the BEST hot dogs! :)

I disagree with the PP. I think because of your kids' ages, you should go with CHH. Casey's is basically just hot dogs and french fries. CHH has a much larger variety with things like fried shrimp, chicken fingers, hummus, salads, etc. The best part about CHH is that if you want to sit down and relax for a moment, you can sit upstairs. Not a lot of people make it up there which leaves for a much quieter CS meal. CHH is a decent CS meal without the headache. :thumbsup2

I also suggest CHH. As much as I like hotdogs, there's more variety at CHH, the food's a little healthier and the atmosphere, especially upstairs is more restful and a nice break from the park. The tuna sandwich at CHH is excellent.

I agree....I think CHH is the way to go. I personally wasnt crazy about Caseys hotdogs....mostly cause of the bun they use. It ruined the whole hot-dog experience for me. :lmao:

hmmmmmmmmm

I love both and have been to both many times. I would have to give an edge to CHH and it saddens me to say that because Casey's used to be my fav. But my trip in May the HD's just weren't what the once were, still good, but not the same. So i am going with CHH

As much as I enjoy some corndog nuggets, I don't think lunch at Casey's Corner is ever low fuss. The seating situation isn't all that great. I think CHH is much less stressful. Yes, the lines can be long if you eat during the usual lunch rush but there is always seating. Head upstairs, grab a table near a window, and have a nice and quiet lunch (in air conditioning!)

Have you been there recently? They changed the hot dogs to a beef chicken mixture and while they did replace the dry all grain buns, they are now huge.

The reason is that they have new variations of hot dogs like a Chicago "style" with lots of toppings. If you just get a regular Hot dog they use the same huge bun.

We've always enjoyed CHH. There are some really nice choices on the menu for everyone and there's always tons of seating.

Caseys is just hot dogs and it is difficult to find a place to sit

CHH is awesome! Tons of seating upstairs and the food is great, love the tuna sandwich, fried shrimp and the chicken blt salad is excellent!

Another vote for CHH. I love sitting upstairs and looking out the window as I eat.

Does anyone know if the tuna salad is just tuna and mayonaise? I have two kids that are pretty picky but love tuna for lunch...they just don't like anything else in their tuna. Also, do you know if they have regular white bread as an option?

Columbia Harbour House all the way. I can't even walk by Caseys without gagging because of the sauerkraut smell. I can guarantee I'll never set foot in there. Or Biergarten, but that's another park

I've only been to CHH but it was very good and I agree that sitting upstairs is great. Quiet and empty. We had the fish and the tuna sandwich and they were both yummy.
