Casey's Corner, a requested review

I got the biggest grin on my face when I saw you were reviewing Casey's! :teeth: We love this place, it's a must do every trip. I enjoyed the view from your table, we've eaten out there before... but just once, because to get the full effect of the Casey's dining experience, you must eat sitting on the bleachers inside, watching the sports cartoons! :thumbsup2

Oh thank you Mr. Disney. I have been waiting ever so impatiently but have remained silent as to not rush your process. I initially suggested this as a joke, kind of like your review of Rosie's, however I will now have to visit next time we are in the World. I know we ate there a couple years ago but as I was chasing around our them toddler, I have no memory of the food, if I even got the chance to eat any. If I did I am sure it was limp and cold by the time I got to it anyhow, most things were at that time in my life. Once in a while I acctually get HOT food now. Thanks for the review, I so enjoyed it and am looking forward to your others. By the way since you are a corn dog conisseur may I suggest a Pronto Pup at the MN state fair if you ever have the opportunity. Only a slight variation to the standard corn dog, but quite tasty. Must say the TX state fair has a mighty fine corn dog as well. The best hot dog I have ever had was from a stand outside the Museum of Natural History and the Shed Aquarium in Chicago.

I think Casey's Corner is 1 of WDW's hidden gems!

I have to agree! We really enjoyed our lunch there sitting outside and listening to the piano player play some really great ragtime tunes. Also enjoyed people watching -- watch out for the bird thieves, though! :umbrella:

Ahh dining on the terrace, I do believe they heard you were coming and held their best seat in the house for you :rotfl2:

excellent review, so when do we get the POP food court :teeth:

BTW we had a great time sunday night, it was a lot of fun....take care

I HAVE HEARD THAT CASEY'S HOT DOGS ARE NATHAN'S WHICH I BELIEVE ARE VERY POPULAR ON THE EAST COAST. WE DO NOT HAVE NATHAN'S HERE IN THE MID-WEST. CAN ANY ONE VERIFY THIS? OUR GRANDSON WANTS ME TO BRING HIM A CASEY'S HOT DOG WHEN WE ARE ON OUR NEXT TRIP. WE NEVER MISS THIS FINE DINING ESTABLISHMENT WHEN WE ARE AT WDW.

Okay, I'll admit it. I have NEVER had a corn dog.

Blame it on growing up on the east coast, Connecticut to be exact but with all the foods I have tried, including sweetbreads in the Netherlands, never a corn dog. They don't even have sell them at the Harwinton Fair (my tiny town's claim to fame!)

Maybe I'll try a small order in December, you know, for the sake of variety! ;)

Keep those reviews and pictures coming!

We picked up a side of ketchup and liquid cheese (hey, it was free, so we thought we'd splurge!)

I'm from CT too! Bridgewater Fair has corn dogs as does the Durham fair! Want to go with us sometime, a CT based field trip with Mr. Disney!

I SOO love crispy fries....almost burnt is OK....

When we go to McDonald's I always pick through everyone's fries and grab all the crispy little tidbits at the bottom of the containers.

Yep, :thumbsup2 THis is me!! and Burger King is the best!!

No matter how hard we may TRY to skip Casey's.... it's not a trip to WDW without it! It's a given now! :sunny:

Love Casey's... but my favorite thing is the piano player and I don't imagine he was there at 12:30am.

We missed him out last trip-- I guess he doesn't play as often now because of the Cinderella show? It just wasn't the same.
