Checking in this morning. I guess I have not missed to much since we have no baby yet and the trial is not on.

OK Kurby, what's going on? Since your water broke yesterday, how long will they give you before they induce, or do they do that? It has been 10 years since I had a baby & I had all three by c-section so I don't know about all of that.

nothing yet - and they don't induce anymore - well at least not in this hospital. she's not in destress, i'm not in destress, they'll leave her until i go or 39 weeks - whichever comes first.

My oldest daughter was 5 weeks early and weighted 5 1/2 lbs. My sons, 4 weeks early and were 6 and 6 1/2 lbs.(non in NICU). Youngest baby girl...full term at 8 lbs 10 oz... Ouch!

BTW. Best wishes on your new baby!

If it is perjury on the part of the Anthonys, the court (JBP) probably needs to work out how to handle it, with respect to the whole trial, or what to tell the jury (does he say to the jury "disregard all testimony of Cindy Anthony", etc?). It would certainly be big enough that they couldn't proceed today, with any witnesses. Seems like the prosecutors had enough time to get work/phone records to prove Cindy's statements wrong, and maybe brought it all to light today. And it DOES seem that Lee didn't testify the way the defense expected yesterday.

So, as far as both sides agreeing, I'd say if it's anything like what I posted above, it would be agreed by both sides that they could not hold court today. They may not agree on where to go from here.

All speculation, of course.

If they all left court, what can they get done over the weekend in their offices?

If it's a legal issue, wouldn't you think they'd stay in court or chambers to resolve said issue and just dismiss the jury?

Any lawyers here that can speculate?

Take whatever it is that happened, and decide how their side would like to proceed.

The more I see Lee replayed, and think about discussion here, he may have been emotional due to increased pressure regarding his responses in the box.
It was obvious he was to testify to the dysfuction, but didn't cooperatively lay it out there.

Cindy was much better..I was home even though records indicate otherwise, I remember the ladder up and gate open on THAT day now, I was all about researching me some chloroform too,,,,

This was mentioned on WKMG this morning--note the 2nd paragraph...another theory in the mix.

Funny that Baez was saying here we go again as though he were innocent and Mike Deforest (WKMG) reminds the viewers that Baez was caught doing this earlier--Dr. Rodriguez...(during that deposition from his supervisor with dept of defense says that they did not know he was in Orlando to be testifying and he is not authorized to testify and if he did, he would be fired. (sidebar: I had no idea that he could be prohibited. Funny that Baez also decided to not have him risk his job and force him to testify even though he could have.)


Baez is seeking a motion for prosecutorial (sp?) misconduct--that Jeff Ashton went out of his way to get Rodriguez dismissed. They accuse him of calling to report the guy, but he RECEIVED a call. Then defense allowed him to leave without any fight.

This would have been bad if Ashton made the call, but no problems because he received the call.

Baez is an IDIOT!

I really hope this whole issue isn't about Ashton. Didn't Judge Perry specify that it didn't have anything to do with the issue of Rodriguez when he recessed court today?

I cannot believe my DS has a 10 AM Dr appt on Monday. Can you get tweets on a regular ol' cell phone? Altho I think DS's phone does more tricks. I can just see shrugging the Dr off like I do my family and say, "Yeah, OK...can you tell me all that later?"

Actually, I think he said it didn't have anything to do w/the situation this morning, which was regarding testimony of the next witness that was, once again, going to go beyond the scope of the deposition.

Whatever happened this morning deals solely with the DT.

If it had anything to do with the States case JA would have been out back with them.

I rewatched the video from today and we see KC come out all sniffly with the guards. She goes back into the back then CM goes back there. Then the rest of the DT goes back there. Then the tweets from ppl in the courtroom start about CM back there yelling.

They then end up having HHBP and State back there and State comes back out and we see JA and LDB talking in the courtroom looking like theyre going to laugh.

Whatever it is isnt about Rodriguez because the State wouldve been back there the whole time

Whatever it is isnt about jurors because the State wouldve been back there the whole time

I dont even think it involves witness tampering like the info from Reuters posted earlier because wouldnt the State have to be there for that as well?

Said CA is taking notes and then shores up holes in the defense with her testiphony.

This entire post made me smile. Especially the part about JA & LDB smiling in open court. I noticed the body language JA was giving the defense. He was pointing his fingers at both JB and CM he had the kind of attitude that told me he was onto something. I think the defense screwed something up.

Does anyone know why Lee was "excluded" to know about Casey's pregnancy? I'm just wondering if I missed that part.

Also, I know this is too sick to imagine, but does anyone think that Caylee looked just like George, like she could be his? Sorry, but I can't help it! I know it's irrelavant to this case, but do we know who Caylee's father is?

This trial is so consuming. I was in the Disney store today with DD19 and we were talking about one day being there with her kids in the future and all of a sudden I was sad and started to think about Cynthia Anthony and her loss, I just hurt for her so much.

If they weren't sitting in the courtroom you know they would be watching online or on tv just like the rest of us. There is no way they would be heeding any admonishion to not watch the testimony, cmon! So imo, the decision by the state is totally irrelevant on the outcome.
