OK question - why is ashton sitting right behind baez why isn't he at his desk?



- since i'm watching the replay and they are talking about the pool i'm going to kick in my 2 cents

we have a pool and dd was born in oct. making her 8 or 9 months the first summer she started swimming.

our pool is half in half above ground. it is surrounded by a large deck.

for the first 2 years we too had a life jacket on Cassie and the second summer (after she was walking) she very quickly learned that if she went near the pool before we got there she wasn't going swimming.

SHE would grab her life jacket when she wanted to swimming and try to put it on. we zipped it up but she put it on.

she would walk up the stairs to the deck and stand and wait until dh or i or my parents got there.

she would then run to the stairs leading into the pool and only once (the first time) jumped in - after she was hauled out dried off and had a crying fit because she had to have a sit out she never did it again.

she would stand on the deck at the stairs and wait - sometimes we moved slowly to see if she would jump and she never did it again.

i'm pretty sure if they taught her not to go up the stairs by herself she would learn quickly.

i know every kids is different but cindy seems over protective of caylee and this whole swimming thing. she had a life jacket on - did she think caylee would sink or something?

i get the taking the ladder down fine - but holding on to her "until i was completely in" is over kill

Is the trial on HLN or Trutv tomorrow? Anybody know? I know its different on the weekend.

Also- IF she is found guilty, doesn't the jury have to stay sequestered for the penalty phase? Doesn't that usually last a few days?

The prosecutors need to have our thread up on their computers during the trial - they are doing a great job, and I'm sure they have great help, but there is some good stuff here!

That's why I hope they have staff/interns on all the blogs and watching all the TV recaps. Of course, if they just kept up with this thread, they wouldn't need all the other sources!

Hey, knock it off! Cindy's boss was the one falsified her time card. Cindy was at home trolling the internet for chloroform and chlorofil. Cindy was also very busy NOT telling Lee anything about his sister's the pregnancy and NOT inviting him or any men to the baby shower!

OK...I think I might be heading to bed. Gotta get up early for "work". Being a SAHM all these years, I'm thinking I might feel like getting a job after the trial, after being so "busy" all these weeks.

HLN. And yes, sequestered through the penalty phase, but I guess only if the death penalty is on the line for anything she's found guilty of.

Have you tried Permanent Disability? I hear it's a very lucrative industry.

I heard Lee was seen eating lunch by himself. Perhaps he is on the outs after his testimony.

Getting a job might be a challenge for them? An Anthony? Oh, okay are you a muderer or a liar or both? I don't know how marketable they are.

So she was so worried about what they dogs ate, but they left the ladder on the pool, and then what happened, she could had fallen into the pool and then what? Why the prosecution doesn't ask her that? It doesn't make any senses.

The tape could had been disposed, same for the shoes, the body was not found until months later, all that DNA was gone, there was no blood because she was asphyxiated or allegedly drowned.

I guess I watched the Investigation Discovery way too much.

Tony Pipitone, WKmG: Cindy Testified she called George that ladder was up, home and cell phone records (presently not in evidence but can be introduced during rebuttal) show that no such call was made. They expect they will be used to show that she was lying.

They also included time cards: on stand she says she did not work OT, only 40 hrs. Time cards show in excess of normal work time (8 hours, 40 hours).

No TiVo, they stated other things about it--but missed it.

Also--witness that defense was to use today is being considered missing. Unable to find her or her vehicle. She was last seen a bar on June 14. I don't know her connection to the trial.

Best place to fin witnesses for the defense, in bars!

I really hope the push Cindy on those details, she shouldn't be lying on the stand.

Also they didn't asked her about the other searches that were made within seconds of the chloroform, the facebook, my space and photobucket, Cindy didn't go on those websites and there were not searches, it was activity in Caseys accounts on those sites.

I have missed the whole day and just got caught up. I realized today that it's not so much the trial that I missed the mmost today but all the posting we do here. I have so much fun on this thread. Just sad that a little girl had to die though.

Please tell me this is true! If the prosecution can prove this, I believe the jury will have no problem ignoring every word that has come out of Cindy's mouth.

Of course, I am sure Cindy will come back with some BS about a secret decoder Batman phone she used that day and it self destructed as soon as she hung up and destroyed all the evidence.

Anyone know if he has a mental health expert on his witness list. Is he going to heed Judge Perry's tip to review a case to get an idea on how to address Casey's behavior?

So many loose ends and we have yet to hear how Caylee died, how George hid her, when and where Kronk found her and hid her and when he returned her, no have we heard about this ugly coping that Casey did. He needs a better script writer. That is not how we address cliff hanger opening statements that PROMISED to show is these things. So far he hasn't made it to Lifetime Movie Channel status when he promised us a summer block buster.

Tony is good and they showed the cAll logs---no outgoing call from Cindy's cell phone or house phone to George. So in the court of public opinion--as she testified, what she said was not true. We will have to wait until rebuttal to see what happens.

Even today with this conversation of clothing my DD remembers a red velvet dress she had when she was 3 or 4, she wore that dress until she was about 7, she wouldn't give it up, no way, no how... that's the dress she remembers. there were clothes she had at 18 months that by the age of 3 she would not give up... pants or leggings up the leg and sleeves that didn't even come close to where they should have been. Every parent knows this happens, particularly if they have a girl!!!

I boxed up all of DD's old clothes by size and labelled them in case we have another girl. Well a couple of weeks ago, she got into the most recent boxes (18m-24m, 2T) and pulled everything out. Mommy was not happy. I've gotten the boxes pretty much packed back up, but I already know I'm not going to be able to put away some of her dress up clothes when she outgrows them.
