I'm lost--Why is that big for state? Baez and co are trying to say her Miranda rights were violated, so wouldn't cuffs be pertinent? Or is this the check charge arrest?

Big for the state because it opens the door to the CC theft and more insight into ICA. Doesn't have anything to do w/the Miranda issue (she wasn't in cuffs when she went to Sawgrass or Universal).

the defense has done there best not to bring up the fact that KC was stealing credit cards and had done so in the past. The fact that they went there bringing up the fact that she was handcuffed but failed to mention why gave the state the opportunity to say, CINDY insisted she be arrested because she stole her credit cards. It shows that Cindy and KC had issues, KC stole from her mom and Cindy was willing to tell the authorities.

Yes, feelings are changeable and transient. They often depend on the picture in front of us at anytime. I have felt sorry for people I found reprehensible. Also, have felt anger at those who I find lovable. Best to look at the entire picture.

Honestly, I didn't understand the cuffing parameters and can now fully see that not only was it clearly unrelated to the Caylee case--I also proves Geraldo knows not of what he speaks.

I think Cheney wanted to bring in Miranda violation--so much so that he NEGLECTFULLY omitted the reason for the arrest to imply it was related to what she is on trial for at the moment. They took a risk and it totally backfired!

I'm sorry, I just can't get past this today. I wonder if any of the jury is thinking the same thing. The defense has been at it for a week and they have not brought up anything relevant to the theory Baez gave in his opening statement. I'm fed up with wasting time with did the shorts fit, what size were the shorts, what fabric were the shorts, did the shorts stretch, who had the duct tape, who saw the duct tape, who brought the duct tape, who used the duct tape.

So if I understand, state will give closing arguments, then the defense, and then the state will give rebuttal closing arguments?
