Regarding perjury:

The consensus between the legal experts is that the state won't go after CA for perjury, primarily due to her being 'sympathetic'. I like to think that I'm capable understanding both sides of an argument (no matter how wrong the other side is ). However, I can't wrap my head around the concept that it would be a bad thing to go after her once the trial is over.

That's what's so hard about hearing both sides of an argument...knowing the other side is wrong.

forgive the stupid question guys:

why was Cindy allowed to stay in the courtroom and be called to testify for the state and defense? She has had access to the hearings.

Even tho I think that witnesses aren't supposed to watch the trial on TV, I don't for a minute believe that Cindy and George (and Lee) wouldn't so I don't think it matters.

Casey Jordan has my same opinion that I stated earlier. The Anthony's and the defense has teamed up. They have all been playing us.

Yeah, I hate feeling played.

What's the scenario when ICA gets out after this train wreck? If I recall there were protester's and others at their house after the initial reporting of the child missing. What happens when ICA goes back to living her life at that house?

Casey got fan letters in jail, along with marriage proposals.

we're doing well - bp in me is down downdown this morning. i was supposed to have an appointment with the peeds dr and the nicu at 9 but i'm still waiting. i wonder if they forgot???

mom and aunt have been here waiting since 8.30 - wonder how much longer they are going to wait

Now I am very concerned Casey is going to walk. Again, according to the commentators I am watching (two defense attorneys and a judge), if the jury feels this was truly an accidental drowning, they are not going to have much to convict Casey on. They all claim that AFTER a child is dead, there isn't aren't any major charges except lying which only totals four years (and she has already served three years). What Casey did after Caylee died is irrelevant. There are a few charges they could have looked at (improper disposal of a body) but she wasn't charged with that. The example the judge gave that would go to the child abuse charge was if Casey was doing something illegal when the accident happened. His example was if she was shooting up and passed out, then Caylee got in the pool because she wasn't being supervised and she drowned - that would be a child abuse charge. They all claim Casey is going to get slapped on the wrist if the jury believes Caylee accidentally drowned. Don't shoot the messenger. I am just reporting what I am hearing. But it sure makes sense. I have a sick feeling in my stomach about this.

you can't forget about the duct tape and how Caylee's body was found. You can't forget Dr. G's testimony and the smell of death coming from the trunk. The defense and the Anthony's are trying to sway the jury. Confuse them.

I am not siding with them, how ever I dont think George has really had to much say in anything at this point. I look at him and wonder what he is thinking. He may be fed up with all of it. I dont think he covered up anything nor do I believe he molested Casey.

That's exactly what I've been wondering, too. In talking to my husband about the case (he doesn't follow it all), he said that people would probably want to have their picture taken with Casey, ala O.J. Simpson. I set him straight on that one! Murderer or not, Simpson was a celebrity, and there were crazy people who worshipped him in spite of it. On the other hand, Casey is hated by all. I haven't heard of one person who believes that Casey is innocent, and I think some real violence would erupt if she gets off. I think the whole twisted family would need police protection.

I tend to think you are right, but there are certainly people we've seen who support her. I can't imagine living in that neighborhood... I was surprised their house was quiet last night after Cindy's testimony.

I'm having a rough morning! Baby didn't sleep well for the 2nd night in a row, big messes to clean up before I'd even had my first sip of coffee....and then they'd been at sidebar the whole time I've been able to sit down and watch, now I think the judge was about to say something and I lost my feed!!!!!

Got it back...now jury is back, and what is going on?

I keep hearing the commentators asking each other if Cindy has given the jury enough reasonable doubt to acquit Casey, and many of themsay it's a possibility. But isn't that only true IF the jury believes Cindy? I think she has lost credibility (if the jury has an iota of intelligence) and therefore, the obvious lies she is throwing out there don't mean anything.
