I think this kid keeps laughing and smiling because he is so nervous. I cannot get the DVR to work...did he do this earlier when JB was questioning him?

I wouldn't want to be an expert witness with Ashton cross examing me...

was this someone casey knew or was it a random bag of garbage/trash she grabbed and put into the trunk to try to cover up the stentch of her decomposing child?

And THIS, Mr. Baez, is how you cross-examine! Sadly, I just can't enjoy it because , in reality, there was a little girl wrapped in that blanket....

I can take great joy in it because "experts" like this will help convict Casey. Without Ashton's harsh cross-examination, the jury may have walked away thinking this guy disputed everything the state has been saying.

How many days does it take to go thru early stages of decay==Witness basically says no clue

Avg temp minus Minimum base temp--determines what accumulated degree
temperature is

2 days at 90 degrees AT--would be 180 degrees ADT

Witness says how long before body moved to Suburban was within 2 or 3 days of death based on current temperature of 95 degrees

And that body consistent with having been at site since that time

Body was moved late in feeding stage of maggots-early maggots had left the body already or maggots were removed from the body then body transported or body placed into bags then moved

JA asks if he's forgetting 4th reason and that if body may have been inaccessible--Witness says it had to have been accessible at some time

JA holds up pig picture and asked how long the bugs took to appear--Witness says they don't appear all at once

Witness asked to read from Haskells report about early bug colonizers---reduced # of colonizers was in an area where colonizers would be excluded-- JA asks Do you take issue with what Haskell says?

Witness says Depends on environmental conditions--JA is anything different about environmental conditions--Witness ..no

JA Would place body held smell...it would stink---Witness yes
