If I were on the jury,that would be a biggie for me. He loses credibility by not stepping down when a missing child case became a murder case.

Just because it went from a missing child to a murder case doesn't mean that he believes that Casey is the murderer. (not that I don't think she is)

Cheney says there is no evidence when or how she died. The defense admitted she drowned in the pool on June 16, 2008. DUH!!!

Cheney is just taking a shot, he knows there's NO CHANCE they get an acquittal. Cheney knows he's on national t.v. right now, so he's just grandstanding for his own benefit.

I think by him reading how to get a guilty verdict with circumstantial evidence he just gave the jury what they needed....

I don't know if EVERY defense attorney does this, but I do believe that it's part of their responsibility to their client to do so. I also think that there are cases, as he is stating, that could lead to Perry granting an acquittal.

True. But his claim is it was an accidental drowning.

I'm thinking he believed her when she claimed kidnapping. She conned him, now we should believe she accidentally drowned because he says so?

That is so tricky, since they are saying she was never missing.
