I know that....but it doesn't change that she made money off of this case. How she actually spent it is irrelevant.

I guess Baez needs to see if everyone else is getting paid more so he can object to it.
I think it shows the jury that the defense is grasping at straws...that they have very little to go on, so it's all about throwing in the same old, same old arguments and attacks.I think its normal to try and discredit the witness and asking about financial gain is acceptable. Its there job to discredit evidence as well. The problem I see with this trial is that there are SO many witnesses and evidence that the constant attack, albeit acceptable, gets old and overused. Makes the jury kind of say, what? again? Is there anyone that isn't genuine?
I don't think he's working for Baez too.So he is a prosecution witness who was also hired by Baez and Baez has bills outstanding....
He might not have mentioned that if Baez hadn't insulted him.
Love when the witnesses smack down on Baez.![]()
It's Baez's special little way of getting a dig in. Creep. The whole "intelligently" thing was again, Baez inexperience. His question was valid, just not how he said it.
He was stating that the witness couldn't really comment on a report because he wasn't familiar with it. But, instead of saying that, he used the word intelligently.....![]()

Yep.
Would be nice if it were introduced though I Am not sure it can be. The defense is being hypocritical in their line of questioning. I just wish the jury could know that.
Do we know that tho, that Baez also hired him? I'm just saying that the exchange between Haskell and Baez was joking around and I didn't get the impression that the defense actually hired him.Part of the indigence is so that the defense will be able to hire and pay for their own witnesses. Defense is not a charity, so if they cannot pay an expert--they don't get to use them.
It looks like Baez hired this guy as well, but hasn't paid the bill. And now it is on court record.
What was the dollar amount stated???
Yep.

Hi Everyone.
I thought i would give you all a personal update on baby Nicole
They did it - they got the tubes in this time.
I had an appointment with the specialist at 11am and he did an ultrasound and thought she was in a better position and had also built up a little more fluid so it puffed her out more.
It too almost 2 hours from entering the procedure room to finish but it worked this time
1 tube in each cavity to drain the fluid and he took of 4 freaking Ltrs of amniotic fluid from me.
It's no wonder I've been sooooooooooooooo uncomfortable for weeks
I can finally see my feet
thank you everyone for all your well wishes and positive pixie dust sent my way. it was much needed and well worth it![]()
I can agree with that!I love Science stuff. I just didn't like being TESTED on it in school tho. What's your science
Math is great! I find the less abstract areas of the subject to be strangely soothing.Im a math person myself! Best part of science was Chemistry and balancing equations LOL! What's your science?
I don't agree.I have a theory on what happened to this little girl. Lets ee if anyone agrees or disagrees with me.
Ok, I think that Casey was giving Caylee xanax so she would sleep so she could go out at night. Well like any medication the more you use the more tolerance your body grows. Well the xanax wasn't working quite so well anymore so she had to find another way to put her to sleep. She found a way to make chloroform. She used the chloroform to put her to sleep cause she had a date that night. She didn't leave Caylee home with mom for whatever reason but she didn't want the new boyfriend to know she was with them either. So Caylee goes to sleep, she puts her in the trunk and puts duct tape over her mouth so if she did wake up said date wouldn't hear her. I think the combination of the homemade chloroform, lack of oxygen from the duct tape and being in the trunk and the Florida heat is what killed the baby. She realizes the next morning that Caylee hasn't made a sound and goes out and discovers her dead. Casey panicks, and puts her in a trash bag so nobody will see what she's done until she starts to decompose and smell. She then puts her in a laundry bag and disposes the body and makes up the story about the nanny to cover her tracks.
What do you guys think. Close maybe?
I don't even know what the 3 major sciences are.I'm currently studying the 3 major sciences separately and will be studying for a degree in biochemistry from September.
I don't agree.I DO think Xanax fits into the equation at some point in Caylee's life. But I don't think it was a lot...certainly not enough to build up a tolerance...she'd have to be drugged A LOT and that would be noticed by other people. I don't think Caylee was ever put in the car trunk alive...just too hot. There was decomposition in the car, not necessarily a live body. I just think people keep trying to place Caylee in the trunk of the car at the wrong time. Also, the duct tape probably was NOT to keep her quiet...if so, it would have been placed just on her face, not around her hair. As the experts have said...that tape was put on with the intention of NOT taking it off.
I've heard that suggested, but I'm not buying it.someone one on some show - ya that'll be ruled hearsay LOL - thought that the tape was used after the body started ....."leaking fluid"
apparently when you die what was in comes out through whatever means. so your pee and poo would release and anything in your tummy would come up with other gases and stuff.
so the thought was that the tape was used to stop the stuff from coming out of her mouth and nose
makes sense but not sure if that's what happened.
Do we know that tho, that Baez also hired him? I'm just saying that the exchange between Haskell and Baez was joking around and I didn't get the impression that the defense actually hired him.Could be wrong. I've been wrong before. Just don't tell DH...I never tell him I could be wrong.

It's ok to disagree. That's what makes good conversation.![]()
