Baez was questioning/accusing the witness about whether the whole video was to get at the emotions of the jury...something like that. It just shocked me (not really) that he would do that, after the Judge clearly researched whether the video would be a valid tool to explain a concept, and decided to let it in. Baez does that...and it irks me...blurts out something he should not be saying..."ringing the bell."

Just had a thought--what if they found the same duct tape in Kronk's home? That could be a possible glove not fitting scenario.

And no one else's home? How "rare" is this tape?

Oh. Well, duct tape can last FOREVER. Some of those rolls are HUGE. How often does the average person actually use it and have to buy more? Just sayin' that I bet a lot of people still have it around.

I am not watching and cannot hear Baez's thought provoking cross examination...

But I believe they are trying to provide reasonable doubt that it was not placed on to cause or death or immediately after death....

So they will try to say that someone took the body and then did it. Because--as was stated...why would someone put tape on someone who died via accident.

You mean you have never heard of this phenomenon? Accidental deaths that were cast away in the woods for animals to destroy always end up with duct tape magically appearing out of nowhere and sticking to the mouth/nose area. I can't believe you didn't know this.

See what comes from living in a small town. You just don't hear about those kind of things here.

Ok, then after that it magically floated to Caylee's mouth and nose. So it wasn't used in relation to her death.

Especially rare duct tape, they must of known where to get, since they possibly broke into the shed.

And they only stole duct tape. 'Cause I'm sure criminals break into sheds all the time and steal rare duct tape but leave lawn equipment. Must be something that happens in bigger cities.

If George was involved--this duct tape that matches the duct tape in the Anthony home....you would think Baez would want it included. Attempting to discredit that it was used at all around Caylee's death, does not make sense.

Unless Kronk broke in the home.

But again--any accusations the defense has for other people are implausible and would have to be "proven" by some testimony or evidence. They may not have to prove anything regarding their client--but they cannot use fairtales to poke holes. They too need reliable evidence that points to another possibility. I.e. A glove that won't go on the accused hands.

While tape may not have closed completely around Caylee's head--it would be an odd freak of nature for the tape to come completely off of a laundry bag and place itself perfectly around Caylee's mouth and entrap her hair.


Which part of REASONABLE doubt is this guy not getting?

It's a rare thing. I guess it happens in large cities.

This will be unpleasant testimony--bugs are examined to tell how long someone or something would have been there....and it gets gross. I could never tolerate that part of CSI as Grissom was the bug guy and even though it was make believe--ewwwwww.

ETA: And y'all be kind when posting what he says--I really don't want to hear about what exactly the bugs were doing or anything. Just sayin'.

Me too. Except I wonder if it would make it look too much like she loved Caylee. Before the drowning story, when we didn't know if they were going to admit she had something to do with it, I think that sticker evidence helped point to her. What would it show now?
