this trial is fascinating...does anyone know when George and Cindy will be back in the courtroom?

I have been following this trial and thread when I can but I must have missed this info.

I guess when this graphic and sensitive testimony about the body is over.

I expected JB to write "duck tape."

It's entirely possible for the hair to be under the tape. Especialy if that poor baby was fighting for her life.

But geeze guys, we need to remember there were extenuating circumstances in her case - she had a date planned with Tony that evening! How could she be expected to call 911, they might not be finished in time for her to go to Blockbuster with Tony!

Sounds like a better defense than George being there for an accidental drowning!

Ok Bozo is trying to discredit him by saying he didn't know how old Caylee was in the internet pic. Well lets see here. She was 2 1/2 years old. Not a lot of time has passed here and a lot of changes happenes in the first couple years of life. So unless this man got a picture of her when she was 6 months old for heavens sake I think he did a pretty good job of getting a recent picture. UGH! I don't like this man.

Physiologically, I am certain that her specific precise age would matter. (i.e. that she was 2 years 2 months, 5 days...) The fastest period of growth of the skull is the first year of life (hence the circumference measurements that are done at the well baby visits). The fontanels (sp?) begin to disappear around the first birthday--but my understanding is they aren't quite fused completely as I had a concern about my son when he was just over a year as I could have sworn that they should have been completely closed but was told that he was normal.

So whether she was 2 or 2.5 isn't going to matter much.

I am not watching and cannot hear Baez's thought provoking cross examination...

But I believe they are trying to provide reasonable doubt that it was not placed on to cause or death or immediately after death....

So they will try to say that someone took the body and then did it. Because--as was stated...why would someone put tape on someone who died via accident.

You mean you have never heard of this phenomenon? Accidental deaths that were cast away in the woods for animals to destroy always end up with duct tape magically appearing out of nowhere and sticking to the mouth/nose area. I can't believe you didn't know this.

Especially rare duct tape, they must of known where to get, since they possibly broke into the shed.

If George was involved--this duct tape that matches the duct tape in the Anthony home....you would think Baez would want it included. Attempting to discredit that it was used at all around Caylee's death, does not make sense.

Unless Kronk broke in the home.

But again--any accusations the defense has for other people are implausible and would have to be "proven" by some testimony or evidence. They may not have to prove anything regarding their client--but they cannot use fairtales to poke holes. They too need reliable evidence that points to another possibility. I.e. A glove that won't go on the accused hands.

Just had a thought--what if they found the same duct tape in Kronk's home? That could be a possible glove not fitting scenario.

While tape may not have closed completely around Caylee's head--it would be an odd freak of nature for the tape to come completely off of a laundry bag and place itself perfectly around Caylee's mouth and entrap her hair.
