Just sayin'.

.Wow, I wish our dog was trained like that. He knows words like "cigar" and "garage" because it means he and DH are hanging out in their man-cave.

Don't be too impressed, my pup is a work in a progress, but he is very eager to learn. however, I have to figure out a way in all seriousness to get a small rope or towel and tie it around the bathroom door handle and teach him to pull it-because that bathroom is small and he likes to go in the bathroom and shut the door to lie down and then cry like a little girl that he can't get out.yes, a 100 lb GSD.:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

but see your pup knows when it's time to chill,he recognizes those words.

Just a note - you won't believe how many cars end up hitting that wall. But it keeps them out of the lake.

I figured Casey was reading the DIS, giving Baez tips....

And EMom - :thumbsup2

That was hilarious! :lmao:Oh Lord, I hope not. I think he'll be part of a "How NOT to act in a courtroom" new attorney training film.LOTS OF LINKS IN THE FIRST POST OF THIS THREAD (for any newbies who don't know).Wow, I wish our dog was trained like that. I remember after 9/11, when they weren't finding survivors anymore, the dog trainers would have people pretend to be trapped, so that the dogs could find them, because the dogs were getting depressed. :( Here's part of an article about that: I know it's a little different situation, but it just points to how well trained and eager to please they are, as in getting it right. They needed to be successful, not just get the pat on the head.

How old is your GSD? Ours is 10. His life revolves around chilling with my DH, or whining that he's not.

That's so funny about closing himself in the bathroom! LOL Ours HATES stairs...or I should say COMING UP stairs. He manages to go down the stairs into the basement. And then he whines about coming up. He'll do that at 3 AM...then DH will haul himself out of bed, go to the top of the stairs, say "Get up here!" and he will. :confused3 Then there are times when our dog will go downstairs, and DH isn't home, and he'll be absolutely frantic about coming upstairs, and no matter what I do, he won't come up. But he'll whine, work himself into a tizzy, and be so distraught, I'm afraid he's going to have a stroke. DH had dogs his whole life and always says this one is the quirkiest.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That reminds me of this story about Casey and Baez from October of '08:

The Florida Bar Association will investigate attorney Jose Baez to determine if jailhouse hugs with Casey Anthony are violations of its ethical standards.

Eyewitness News broke the story of the displays of affection between Baez and Anthony at the Orange County jail where Casey is awaiting trial on charges she murdered her daughter, Caylee.
Casey and Baez have been seen on numerous occasions hugging each other, holding hands or sitting extremely close. Law enforcement sources said while at the jail, Baez would sit extremely close to Casey. During one visit an officer had to separate the two and warn him about what was called inappropriate behavior.
The jail would only say Baez had violated rules for hugging Casey on two occasions. In an internal email, a corrections officer wrote, “I spoke with Mr. Baez concerning his continued physical contact (hugging) of his client."
A jail spokesman said, "We do not allow contact for security reasons.”
The first time Baez was warned, officials said he told officers he did not know the rules, and was sorry and would make an effort to remember.
The jail email said, “Mr. Baez stated he was upset as he hugs all his clients. He went on to say he would hate for a brief to be filed in order to correct this."
Jail officials said at one time, there was video of the meetings between Baez and Anthony but that video had been recorded over.
The complaint with the Florida Bar was filed by a woman from Indiana who had read about the incident online and felt Baez overstepped his boundaries. The Bar said it would investigate the complaint even though the woman had no involvement in the case. Baez could have his license revoked if the Bar deems the conduct inappropriate but license forfeiture would be extreme in a case such as this.

And who can forget the LICORICE SCANDAL

According to Fox 35, Casey Anthony, 22, and her lead defense attorney, Jose Baez, may have shared some intimate moments during jail visits.

Baez had been reprimanded in the past for hugging Anthony during one visit, which jail officials called social hugs. Some have told Fox 35 that during moments in court, Baez and Anthony may have been flirting with one another.

Anthony’s private investigator, Jim Hoover, is now telling investigators that on one occasion, Baez brought red licorice to the Orange County Jail. According to Hoover, Baez was sitting on one side of a piece of glass that had a hole in the middle of it, while Anthony was on the other side.
Hoover said, “…he [Baez] started eating on one side and you know, she [Anthony] was eating on the other side so it looked like they were kissing through the glass or something, you know…”

Hoover also claims that another private investigator, Dominic Casey told him that he went with Baez to the jail one night to see Anthony. Dominic Casey claims they were there for three hours and not once did Baez and Anthony speak about the case.

An Orange County spokesperson, Allen Moore, confirmed for Fox 35 that Dominic Casey had been to the jail with Baez to visit Anthony. But, Moore claims that Baez and Anthony were sitting in the same room and there was no glass between them.

Ugh. Remind you of anything?

Except maybe we'd call it Shady and the Tramp :cutie:

He did ask that in relation when he said the dog worked for the handlers affection since he didn't work for a paycheck did he? Bozo...

There just isn't enough eye rollin' smilies in the world to post for this bozo.

He turned 2 on Valentine's day this year. but I swear sometimes he is the biggest goof. and the bathroom door thing, every day occurrence.

Yeah, once again, I can't figure out where he is going with that. Was he trying to say the dog only alerts because he wants affection from the handler? Well, Bozo, you fool, then poor Gerus would be alerting all day long.

I have to believe this is all just inexperience on Bozo's part because he can't be that incompetent of an idiot, can he? :confused3:rolleyes1 (is there an head scratching smilie?)

We are watching America's Got Talent. Perhaps Baez could audition when he is done with this gig.:confused3

Anyway--if any worthwhile commentary occurs on the HLN programs, please post.

Keep up the good work!

I think he expects the jury to go "By Jove, I think he's got it".

I'm having an off moment to create something catchy from "The rain in Spain, stays mainly in the plain".

But if Jose could just break out in an Eliza Doolittle performance--he can pick who gets to be his stunt voice, so there is no bias....it just may help his case.:thumbsup2

And i got dibs on this court case scenario:

When Casey is found guilty--I predict she gives a verbal smackdown to her parents for letting this happen. I mean--once it is all over, she won't have anything to lose, right. She could just let all that anger out.

Well, I forget if its Websleuths or HinkyMeter, but they are casting the movie for this... They have pretty much decided Jon Lovitz would be perfect to play Baez :thumbsup2

Her legs were fine...she couldn't walk? J/K!!! Hope she's OK!

Well, the nearest ER is 50 miles away, but she could have at least made the effort, couldn't she??? :confused3

(Turned out not to be broken so that was a good thing. :))

Surely you have to have at least some semblance of talent to be on the show, don't you? I haven't seen that he can do much of anything well... :rolleyes1

:rotfl2:

Truthfully, she may react much like the way she acted in some of the jailhouse videos when she was throwing such an angry fit.

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl::laughing: :thumbsup2

So he thinks the dog is a con artist??? :rotfl2:

I hate I haven't been able to watch this stuff. My friend thought she broke her collar bone, and I had to take her to the ER. What was she thinking??? :confused3 ;)

Sorry about your friend's collar bone, hope it heals quickly.

I was having this scenario in my head: ok she can have her fit, but:
could everyone in the courtroom heck even the judge take turns smacking her like that scene in airplane? :rotfl2:
