I am reading it like crazy! I love it.
I am not home during the day so I have to record it each morning then watch it at night but it really bothered me to see Casey have little to NO reaction about her mother balling her eyes out. The whole case seems a bit fishy to me.

anyone else getting the feeling that Lee is trying to decide to lie for the sake of saving his sister or tell the truth for caylee.

it's almost like he's thinking well caylee is gone and i dont' want them to kill KC so if i lie maybe she'll just get life in jail or maybe she'll get off.

I dont know if lee is going to help in anything, what was the point of bringing him in? If he remembers when the defense asks, the state can go back and reask and then he would have to say something.

I agree with what the commentators just said on In Session, that Lee is being cautious to not mis-speak because of the impeachment threat. I don't blame him especially since he also knows about the looming BOMB that will be dropped once the defense gets a hold of him.

I agree. I think he is taking quite a bit more time to think than anyone else did before he answers. For Caylee's sake, I hope he is being truthful, but I doubt it.

Lee is being very careful thinking about the answers before he speaks. I also saw the half smile KC gave him. He's protecting himself because he knows what the defense is accusing him of.

There are many ways in which a witness can be impeached but the following (I think) are what is referenced regarding Lee and why he is constantly checking the back records of his previous statements/deposition.

Inconsistent Statement--The witness has made two or more conflicting statements. By exposing his conflicting statements, you reduce his credibility.


Contradiction--The witness is induced to contradict his own testimony during the present proceeding. This differs from inconsistent statements, above. Inconsistent statements involve statements made out-of-court (hearsay) or in prior proceedings. Contradiction involves the witness saying two different things in the same testimony
