Why am I surprised, so many have tried and convicted Casey, using leaks from the prosecution as evidence? Can she receive a fair trial?

BTW, it's not uncommon for a victim to "love" their abuser, especially when incest is involved. Ive stated before, abuse is no excuse for murder, but I'm not convinced Caylee was murdered. Not yet...anyways

BTW, it's not uncommon for a victim to "love" their abuser, especially when incest is involved. Ive stated before, abuse is no excuse for murder, but I'm not convinced Caylee was murdered. Not yet...anyways

The records will show how much the pros objected to him as well. I think they only object if it is really needed. They know this and they will let him hang himself for this issue if they go back and count.

Actually, the prosecution didn't leak anything. In Florida, we have the Sunshine Laws. The public has a right to see and obtain evidence that has been submitted. All you have to do is go to the courthouse and request/pay for copies. Many websites, individuals and media went out and got the stuff.

As far as being tried and convicted. I think people just can't make sense of the defence scenario. Its more than just the abuse allegations.

I also question why people choose THIS issue to believe Casey with. She has NEVER told the truth. Why should we believe her now? Why wait 3 years to say something and spend them in jail? 1, maybe, 2, ok. but 3? Save herself time and the State of Florida money. I try and make things fit, they just don't yet.

Way too many holes in the story. By the way, did Baez ever say where they hid Caylee or how they got rid of the body?

One thing that is EXTREMELY important to remember...there have been no "leaks".

What has been released is ALL a matter of public record in the state of Florida. She can and will receive a fair trial.

There have been zero leaks. It is all part of the process in the state of Florida. Including jail videos, including everything. There are some things we do not know, but I do not know the reasons of why they do not get released. But no prosecutor without a motion that is granted can keep their entire case sealed.

The state of Florida--the prosecutors--those people claiming Casey murdered her daughter--submitted a motion to put a gag order on the case to protect her right to a fair trial.

Guess who disagreed and asked the court to deny the motion---Jose Baez!!! Perhaps part of a greater plan to increase the likelihood of getting an appeal granted...But DEFENSE asked that the gag order be denied which would have prevented further release of documents, pictures, commentary, etc.

Weren't they officially engaged way back in 2008 when this all happened, or did they become engaged since then? I bet it's tough to throw a wedding in the midst of all this.

I wonder what she thinks of the accusations against Lee.

I recall Perry asking everyone how long they think this trial will last. Did that get answered this morning I missed the first 15 mins.

He had said that he wanted to know next Friday. I think he was talking about the prosecution presenting their case, but I could be long.

Caught witness waiting patiently, but doing a subtle shaking of his head "no". Weird.

I didn't see it...do you think he was shaking his head to Casey?

From his questioning Im gathering its like this.. In Casey's world she faked everything.. work, babysitter, moving plans, etc.. Could be she was lying about being happy.

So, we have that Casey is liar....

So the prosecution brought up the various videos of Casey out and about between 6/30 and 7/15/08, and Baez stated that he required "foundation" for these videos and Judge Perry had to SERIOUSLY pause and he repeated back to him "you require foundation???" Sidebar...
