Baez hasn't really annoyed me until now. Criticizing an individual for addressing the jury?! Surely there are more important things to question him about.
His inexperience and stupidity are showing again. They said that FBI, DEA and all federal agents are trained and taught to ALWAYS look at the jury when giving an answer, since they are the one's deciding the case. You don't see it much in state courts, but with a seasoned officer, it would not be unusual.
WHAT A FREAKING MORON!!! Looking at the jury is standard for law enforcement. Why is BOZO going on about it? He is so in over his head.
Can't you just hear Bozo thinking "Aw shucks, Judge, that was my big line! Practiced it all night!!"
I love the way Melich talks to the jury, and so confidently.![]()
This is making me quite ill. I think Baez is trying to get Melich to admit that she was a suspect and all her statements should be thrown out because she had not been Mirandized until much later.
But it won't fly. He tried this at a pre-trial hearing and Judge Perry shot him down.
So he is saying, "My client told such ridiculous lies that it should have been obvious to you that she did something to her daughter, therefore you should have Mirandized her."
The Law & Order junkie in me just can't look away.
What is Baez trying to prove here?
I think so. Makes me sick.So he is saying, "My client told such ridiculous lies that it should have been obvious to you that she did something to her daughter, therefore you should have Mirandized her.".
I think so. Makes me sick.
Did Judge Perry just have to explain things again to Baez, about evidence numbers or something?
Bozo is making no sense with his line of questioning. He is doing nothing more then showing the jury that his client is nothing but a bald face liar. What is the point of this?
Has there ever been a "My client is innocent because she's a liar" defense?
