I think it's a great idea and very possible, but you know what else I think? I think this is aggravated child abuse, that was one of the charges... it could also be murder 2 or 3....

The problem is, I have seen no proof that it happened the way I said, although my heart is convinced.

I do admit that I was shocked she didn't get hit with the negligent homicide charge, but then again, no proof. Unless the proof could be that she said Zanny took her. If she thought her child was kidnapped and didn't report it and the child died, isn't that negligent homicide since she's responsible for the baby?

Casey isn't normal. She's sociopathic. I can see her not reporting an accident. It would ruin her day.

Therefore she should have been convicted of at least aggravated child abuse.

I guess Caylee walked into the woods, wrapped duct tape around her own head, chloroformed herself, and then broke her own neck. People of Florida should be ashamed.

Caylee's neck was not broken, although Casey had searched "neck breaking".

Where is the evidence of this? What evidence do you have to back up that statement?

Ok, this answers the question I posted above about wasn't Casey responsible for the baby. I guess the jurors only saw Casey as a party girl as both the defense and prosecution said. So the jury saw Cindy as raising that child, not Casey.

Works for me. Honestly, when they said accidental drowning cover up, I thought immediately "Why would you cover up an accidental drowning? Unless there were more to it ... like something that would turn up in an autopsy!"

There were lesser charges that could have been considered and weren't. That means the jurors, all 12 believe Casey was not there because if your child drowned you would perform CPR on their lifeless body, kids drown in Florida all the time. The way Caylee was found was not a reasonable condition for an accidental drowning victim, with duct tape and bagged up in a swamp... no drowning story for 3 years. Yet we are supposed to believe Casey was not involved or did not know what happened to her child, I think she did, I think she was party to it, that makes her guilty, guilty of what would be the next question.

And as far as the autopsy, there were nothing but bones left, you can't reasonably expect that the drugs or Chloroform they were looking at would be found.

I have cancelled our WDW trip this year. No way am I spending my hard earned money in a state that could not find 12 competent people to put a sadistic, self-absorbed child murderer to death. I suggest we offer up Florida to the Canadians. Utterly pathetic.

There are plenty of Floridians on this thread that would have found her guilty.

I know of nothing that connects GA to Caylee's death, unless you believe stories rather than evidence. Seems to be the way people approach cases now!

OK - lemme get this straight. They didn't prove that Casey was molested, so she dismisses it.

But on the other hand, there's nothing to prove that GA was there when the accidental drowning allegedly occured but she thinks he was there and accepts that?

But we’ll just say something happened, at some point she probably needed medical care, or at least there could be some attempt to save a childs life. That was never made. That bothered me.

Gotta wonder if it bothered her enough to bring that up and consider neglect? I doubt it.

I had enough at this point when she couldn’t pronounce culpable or even explain what it meant when it was in the jurors instructions as a definition.

I don't think she understood what the jurors instructions were.

And THAT'S the million dollar question. I guess it wasn't on the list of charges the jury had to work with.

It doesn't matter if you see proof it happened THAT way, with the timeline who else had access to all the things necessary? You need a reasonable doubt, give me one story that gives reasonable doubt and does not include Casey.... one reasonable story. It doesn't matter how it happened, but if you believe the proof that she was the last one on that day to see Caylee before she is seen on the blockbuster video and her whole family is now at work, there is only one person who could have done this.

There was plenty of circumstantial evidence, unreasonable doubt got in the way, a jury that seemingly did not understand their directions got in the way. If the juror who spoke said what is quoted here, she did not follow the law.

And this could not have been Cindy as Cindy was at work all day, and under the law, Casey was the child's caregiver, her parental rights were still in tact.

Did you see the list? It covered your exact scenario and lots of others. She was charged with everything from nuts to bolts and everything in between. The jury didn't read or understand or care about their instructions.

On a serious side note a member of our party had an incident in Orlando ten days ago in the middle of the day with no warning, I think it will be quite a long time before we go back. It could have been far worse and I was just really glad it wasn't.

You don't have to convince me of that. I posted a timeline as to who last saw Caylee and when a few pages back. No way can I come up with a plausible story that puts Casey somewhere else at the date/time of Caylee's death. Again, see my timeline on the other page where I clearly state that nobody saw Caylee from 12:30 pm on. There is Blockbuster video store surveillence that shows Casey with Tony and no Caylee. Nobody stepped up to say that Caylee was with them ...so where was Caylee? (Aside from chloroformed inside Casey's trunk)? There is no logical story to put Casey anywhere but with Caylee at the time/date of her death.

Exactly! You can't determine drowning, drugs or chloroform based on skeletal remains. If there was an accidental drowning, the only reason she wouldn't call 911 to report is because there was more to the story. Perhaps there were drugs in Caylee's system and it would turn up in an autopsy. That's why I think she dumped the body even if it was truly an accidental drowning ... in hopes that it wouldn't turn up for awhile (especially if she led authorities to believe Caylee was still alive) and would be too decomposed to do any type of autopsy to reveal if drugs/chloroform in her system.

It certainly is your right....but your protest is an illogical And irrational reaction to what has occurred.

I am beyond ticked at the verdict...but there is more to the state than this small jury pool sample.

I believe CA and GA stymied the investigation no end. They protected KC. Either of them involved in the death...nothing points to it.

And that makes me worried about who was on that jury and why.... How can a jurist come off the trial, say she felt Casey was involved and yet not consider a lesser charge? That is beyond crazy.

And yet if that were the case it would still be aggravated assault on the child since she did not call 911 and must have known not calling would certainly result in the death, so she turned an accidental drowning into an absolute murder.
