But then don't you run the risk of them being bought? I do think there should be some sort of test of comprehension. if they did not get it then why didn't they ask questions. That is truly what upsets me.
OMG! IT'S A GIRL!! I'M GOING TO HAVE A GRANDDAUGHTER!!![]()

Here's what I want to know about the jury verdict.
If the initial vote was 10-2 not guilty of 1st degree murder, that means 2 jurors thought she was guilty.
The juror later said it was 6-6 on the manslaughter charge.
I'd like to hear how the 2 people, then the 6, changed their minds and decided to set her free.
They could still be deliberating, or at least possibly cause a hung jury, if those 2 or 6 people would have stuck to their guns.
It does make you think they just wanted to come to a quick verdict and get the hell out of there.
Apparently, they deliberated and those jurors looked more closely and decided that voting not guilty was their best choice.
And juries ALWAYS get it right?

Caylees Memorial Site -- Lightening strikes tree at memorial site, hours after the news of Casey Anthony will be released from jail.
Angels up above are watching.

Apparently it doesn't matter if they get it right or wrong. It is the system we have and we are suppose to support it and not be outraged when it fails.![]()
It's the American Way!
Never mind about all those amendments on the constitution...if the constitution was perfect, they shouldn't have been needed...based on the logic that we should support our constitution on this matter as it is written. Women didn't need that pesky right to vote...among other matters. They should have just reserved the outrage as we should always support the system AS IS.
Makes a whole lot of sense.![]()
Amazing, isn't it?Apparently it doesn't matter if they get it right or wrong. It is the system we have and we are suppose to support it and not be outraged when it fails.![]()
Interesting. I agree with him. The jury also seemed to discount the fact that Casey admits she's a huge liar. They then go on to believe her and disbelieve George with absolutely no evidence to show he lied. In fact, there is evidence to show he's telling the truth.Interesting take from Eyes on Juror #3....basically saying they ignored what the defense themselves claimed...accident/cover up....
I get lost in legal-ease...but something about how that would be one of the charges. Anyway--interesting read and the comments are worth looking at:

I would have sat there, with my arms crossed refusing to budge. And at least if they had a hung jury, the state could retry her again. Now she free to kill again. If I was on that jury, I wouldn't care if it was 11-1 and I was all alone, they wouldn't have changed my mind and little buddy would have just missed his Caribbean cruise.
You know, Ive actually had that thought. Its just a thought and not one I can prove but I wonder how many of them actually read the forms , the indictment and the jury instructions. I can tell you there is a lot in both of them that I find hard to understand and have done further research to understand them.I'm going to go on a limb and suggest she wasn't the jury foreperson and didn't see the form?
The form had lesser charges....but not guilty on ALL charges (except lying) because they couldn't convict her of murder one and had no lesser charges that they could have voted guilty on...
just think about the chances that lightning would strike that tree, today! There is a lot of energy at that site. It's just amazing. Whether you believe in signs or god or karma, there is something there. Very cool!
