Did anyone else see Dr Drew talk to Tracy McLaughlin tonight? She's the lady Leonard Padilla had watch Casey in her home while she was out on bail. OMG...

I will have to find the transcript when they put it up. Wow, what a insight into what was going on in the house at the time, plus she reaffirmed my opinion that it was Casey, and Casey alone, who did the dirty deed. Again JMHO.

This bothers me so much, why wasn't Tracy called to testify? She seems to have a lot of information that would have put some of the reasonable doubt issues to rest that ppl have.

Sadly I think they would have considered her testimony hearsay or maybe the prosecution thought Tracy has credibility issues because of her involvement with Leonard Padilla ?

Call me jaded, I believe Jerry Springer Inc. and Vivid Video are only putting out "stories" of offers then retracting them for double the publicity. Vivid could not have paid for the amount of press they got and I do not think they are a company with any ethical standards.

No evidence that points to George. DT can bandy about whatever smokescreen they want. The jury basically said in interviews that Casey is liar but it doesn't make her a murderer. Guess what, being defensive because you are accused of molestation, murder and an affair without some proof doesn't make you a murderer either.

The mere thought that this jury looked at George and found reasonable doubt is well, wrong...on many levels IMHO.

I just love how so many people are keeping Caylee's memory alive and at the same time pressuring everyone else from letting Casey or Baez get their story out there. When Jerry Springer and the porn industry turn you down, you know you have reached the status of the lowest common denominator.

Well Baez was pretty upseT that people made ANY money...society just wants to hold him to his own standards.

Unfortunately, its hearsay and opinion. Opinions can only be testified to by a certified expert. The hearsay rules can be confusing because there are so many exceptions to the basic premise, at least for me they are.

I don't get it either..


But it seemed to be allowed for impeachment of a witness (River could say what George told her because he denied it on stand)....

And it seemed to be allowed if it was something that could implicate Casey on the charges (I.e. The witness that said Casey said "I'm such a good liar" and all the hearsay about where CAsey said that Caylee was.)

It seemed to not be allowed as evidence that something occurred (Tony saying that Casey told him that Lee felt her up)...that wasn't allowed after proffer.

I know there is more about hearsay..but those are the three things I remember.

They probably did make her an offer. They tried to get Octomom too.

I really can't see Casey doing any sort of interview. She's so weird with all her preening, I think she would come off as mentally ill (b/c she is!). Everything would be a lie, since she's a convicted felon and liar and all. Heck, her lawyers wanted her declared incompetent 2 weeks ago! I think her jail time has only further removed her from reality.

I think she'll stick to a book or magazine interview.

Morning! I still don't understand why KC's friends were allowed to speak on the stand about the fact that they felt she was a good mother (for example Mallory) OR the fact that she never worried about Caylee. They seem to be opinions as well. I do agree that Tracy's Padilla association may have caused some credibility concerns though.

Wow... having been glued to this story since it broke in 2008, I am having a tough time with how this is all turning out. Just sayin'

I'm fairly certain that there are 12 jurors from Pinellas County that could easily be convinced of a George/Laci connection.
