Casey Anthony Civil Trials Discussion

It is amazing how someone can choose someone who commits murder and just walk away from your husband and children. One day I am sure she will have a wake up call and wont be able to fathom herself how she could do that. I am sure it was akward, but thank you for sharing your faith with the prisoners.

It is really interesting.

I remember once in college, during an abnormal psyche class, we saw a documentary about people that marry people on death row. . .I don't remember the name. But what I basically remember is that they take comfort in having this quasi relationship. . .they get to be "in love" but not have to actually share their life with anyone. And what was really kind of amusing is that most of these people were horrified by the idea of their spouse ever actually getting out of prison someday.

Well guess who I met today? Actually I had already met her, I just had no idea it was her. We visited our friend on death row today, and we were talking about the Casey Anthony trial. He asked me what I thought and asked some details, since he had not followed the trial very closely. He told me that when the verdict came in, the entire floor was celebrating like their team just won the Super Bowl. Then he pointed to the woman sitting at the table across from us and said that is Rosalie Bolin, one of her lawyers! My jaw just dropped open! He started telling me how she left her husband and married the inmate when he had already been convicted and I told him I had heard the whole story. He said she comes every Saturday (death row inmates get visitation every Saturday and on certain government holidays). I know I have seen her several times and talked with her (all the ladies usually chat while waiting for the oh-so-fun pat-down before being admitted to the visitation park). In fact we had talked a little that morning before going in. After that I was surprised that our friend
had been talking so openly about how Casey was guilty definitely within earshot of Rosalie and her husband. In the visitation park you know all the inmates are on death row, they have all committed murder, so that is awkward enough, but it was definitely more awkward knowing that this woman had left her husband and children to marry a death row inmate. Ugh. Even weirder than the inmate who has managed to conceive two children while on death row.

I remember seeing her a few times sitting at CA's table early in the trial. Oh I think it was during jury selection that she was present. It was the commentators on In Session that pointed her out and mentioned about her situation. She appeared to be kind of disheveled looking. Like she was very tired.
Odd how she left her family for a death row inmate.

I had heard about Rosalie Bolin's past early on but didn't read much past that.

She sounds like a real piece of work and I can see why she would have been on Casey's defense team. Baez and Bolin would make a great couple.

Seriously.... considering she avoided THE DEATH PENALTY! you would think they would be ecstatic about probation.

Well appealing the order for her to serve probation. I hope it is denied.:sad2:

I wonder how much she has racked up in attorney fees? If she doesn't start bringing in some money, they are going to eventually get sick of her.

Whoa, that's some read! I'm at WDW, and just popped in between parks. I think I'll leave the rest to when I get home. But it is interesting...she's a nutcase.

Jane Valez Mitchell is on...Casey Anthony reportedly signed a six figure book deal? :confused3 First I'm hearing about it.

And at this point, she is not officially indigent anymore, so she is personally racking up the legal fees all by herself.

I saw that too. Let's hope the six figures means $100,000; not even enough to cover her legal fees. Can't wait until word gets out on which publishing house took on this deal. They will be bombarded with hate mail and phone calls.

I heard about this too on JVM and its suppose to talk about her messed up life growing up and more throwing everyone under the bus, her baby-daddy is still alive, but I don't remember once hearing about poor Caylee :confused3

There also talked about how there are already tons of boycott FB pages and how ppl are not only boycotting TV programs, channels and also the advertisements, and how this would have to be a large publishing company to put up a 6 figure CASH ADVANCE.

My thoughts are if anyone is that curious to read this piece of garbage then go to Borders or the library and sit down and read it or skim through it but don't put a penny in her pocket by being tempted to buy it.

If Caylee's father IS still alive, I wonder if he knows he's Caylee's father. And is she going to NAME him, or just spin some nameless story? Because I'd think there'd be some risk of a wrongful death suit if someone finds out Caylee was his.

"Funny" how she can't do book signings.

The bookstores will probably have to put the book behind the counter, because they'll get so ragged from people reading and not buying. ;)

The last chapter will no doubt be called

The Worst Mistake of My Life
Getting Pregnant

This makes me more angry and sick at the same time. Hope the name comes out soon so people will help this co go away by no longer supporting them.

This will be in the fiction section, right? ;) She's great at that!
I think they'll be distributed throughout the bookstore...autobiography, fiction, horror, "romance", etc. ;) I hope it includes a flowchart of all the men she...you know.

My DD is 5 1/2 months pregnant, and I've just spent the last week and a 1/2 with her on vacation. I know it's not 7 - 8 months pregnant, like Casey was in that wedding picture, but I've noticed how different DD looks depending on what she's wearing. She doesn't look the least bit pregnant...AT ALL...sometimes. (I, on the other hand, looked pregnant at 9 WEEKS with my 3rd child. )
