Case aginst Casey

Oh wow! Where to start...There's so much u know I'm gonna miss something.

Ok...In July 2008 grandmother Cindy Anthony calls 911 to report that her 2yo granddaughter Caylee was missing after getting a notice that her daughter Caseys car was in an impound lot and had been for awhile. Her and her husband George pay to get the car out then start trying to get in touch with Casey. When they finally find Casey the baby isn't with her and she won't tell them where she is. She finally tells them that the nanny kidnapped her. During the course of that call she (Cindy) says "It smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car"

Cindy then finds out that the baby has been missing for 31 days. The cops come to the house and Casey takes them to her job at Universal where the cops soon find out that her working is a lie.

Then they find out that the nanny Zanny is also made up.

Her car does smell like a dead body and it is impounded by the Orange County Sheriffs Office (OCSO)

Then they find out that Casey stole money hand over fist from everyone she came into contact with--Caylees piggybank--her parents--her grandfathers nursing home acct--her best friend

She's arrested---Leonard Padilla a bounty hunter bails her out because he believes her story or at least believes he can find the baby

She's arrested again.

Caylee's body was found right around the corner from her house in the pet cemetary that Casey used to bury her pets who had died by a meter reader who followed the case and believed that's where the body could be after one of Casey's childhood friends police interview was made public.

Up until the trial started she insisted her lies were true and that the nanny was real and the poor womans life was ruined by it because she lost her job,was kicked out of her apartment and couldn't get a new one because of the attention she had garnered.

She has a dimwit for an attorney who may or may not have been inapproriate with Casey and had been warned numerous times by the prison gaurds to basically knock it off

Now since the trial started she says her dad and brother both molested her and that George (her dad) is the one who hid the body.

Bottom line, a little girl died. Defense and Prosecution agree that mom lied a TON. Circumstantial evidence all together point to Casey.

Casey via her attorney claim she was taught to lie by her daddy who she claims sexually abused her. This theory emerged in recent months and prosecution was informed 6 weeks prior to the jury selection.

They had court today--I watched a little bit of it--It was the cadaver dog handler who testified today--Tomorrow it will be another dog handler

Court occurs during "Business hours". I believe it is only some cable stations covering it. Most everyone seems to watch live streaming on the internet. Court runs from about 9ish to 5ish. Sometimes it will go early if they have some motions to take care of with the trial commencing at 9am.

It is also going on from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

Whether or not your news station has coverage will depend on their proximity to Orlando. The farther away, the less you will hear.

Thus far, they take only Sundays off and they have taken Memorial Day. If they are still going in July--they will have July 4th off as well. Too many issues to get court going on a Federal holiday.

The only thing I heard the defense is saying about him is that he sexually abused Casey when she was a girl. Somehow, because of that, when Caylee supposedly drowned in the family pool, he and Casey are supposed to have covered up the death and disposed of the body, according to the defense lawyers. I'm not buying it...

George and Cindy loved that baby so much. Heck they had so many pictures of her it's crazy. They doted on her and bought her everything a little girl could want.

They went out of their way to make sure she was well cared for.

I don't believe George ever touched either Casey or Caylee.

I also believe that if George was willing to call the cops over some $5 gas cans he would've called them had anything happened to Caylee--Heck Cindy was the one calling 911 the second she found out Caylee was missing.

So why did Casey wait so long to tell her mom her daughter was missing was she ashamed that the nanny kidnapped her? Does Casey have something to hide?
