Case aginst Casey

So I am guessing I am up to speed for the most part but I find myself confused and I don't know why

There was no nanny to kidnap the baby.

Casey made her up to look more important than she was--Normal people have babysitters...Casey had a "nanny".

I think her reasons for not telling anyone was because she was with a new group of people who were all single and going out and living up their college years....Casey wanted that. But because she had a baby she was always going to be tied down.

Her mom, Cindy, had threatened to get custody of the baby if Casey didn't straighten up. And that made Casey angry.

I think she has lots of reasons in her mind which to her may seem valid. To the rest of us she's a whackadoodle.

The cadaver dogs handler testified---He went over how many cases he and his dog had been called out on--went over his qualifications--his dogs qualifications---How many times the dog has hit on a dead body--procedures for when they're called out to a crime scene---how the dog tells him when he's found a dead body etc

Back when this first happened I thought who on earth would kill their child bu with everything going on it makes it seem possible she did not kill her own daughter. For the record I hope Casey did not kill Caylee

If Casey is breathing, she is lying. I do not believe she lies because she was molested, but because she is a stone cold sociopath. People seem to be reluctant to believe sociopaths can be born that way and prefer to believe something horrible must have made them that way. But some people are just sociopaths because THEY ARE. Casey knows the difference between right and wrong, she simply has no regard for it.

No nanny. She didn't really tell her mom.. She hid from her family until she was caught because her car had been towed. Grandma called cops, the rest is history

Her boyfriend at the time. Her boyfriend and friends who were with her during these 31 days didn't know about Caylee missing either.

Can someone tell me why there is such hatred for the defense attorney on the other thread? He seems to be doing his job. He's supposed to discredit prosecution witnesses and protect his client. I don't know if there is a back story and that is why he is hated. Someone fill me in. Everyone is entitled to have an attourney. Even people who we believe killed their child. I hope people aren't just hating the guy for being her attourney.

I don't even know where to start LOL.. First he is extremely inexperienced. He was a DUI lawyer that Casey got because another inmate gave her his name. Only reason he could continue on this case was because he got Cheney Mason to co-counsel as he is death penalty case certified.

At the beginning, he was a media wh***. Brokered the sale of Casey's pics for $250,000 to pay himself. He's in this for the glory and he doesn't even hide it well.

During the pre-trial hearings, it was constant mistakes. Badly filed motions that didn't meet legal criteria, mistakes in court, etc. The Judge is constantly smacking him down.

Took him 8 years to get admitted to the bar, not just because he didn't pass the test but because his character was in question. Bad business deals (sold bikinis), bad real estate deals, foreclosures, bad check, etc..

He is smarmy and in completely over his head. The judge admonishes him at least once a day. Although at times he makes some points, for the most part he's a bozo.

Well, in his defense, all defense attorneys are probably in it for money. But I can see what you are saying about being in over his head a lot. Thanks for giving me the back story. I always wondered why the hatred.
