Carved Pumpkins

Since it's almost Halloween, let's see pictures of your carved pumpkins....

Here is mine (Goofy) and my husband's that we carved tonight:

Wow, very nice!!! Martha Stewart would be proud!

I didn't carve a pumpkin this year ( have a ceramic one)but even when I did it was more a traditional "Peanuts" kind of pumpkin.

I would love to see others pumpkins, too!

These aren't too good, carving wise or picture quality wise... We were getting aggravated with carving, and then did really quick pictures since its so cold out!

I can't give you a definite answer since I wasn't the pumpkin carver, but I'm guessing they carved a smaller pumpkin and placed it inside of the larger pumpkin. Did that last year with a four-paned window big pumpkin and my company logo inside on a mini pumpkin and won 1st place in the office

Yep, that's how it was done.
1. get Big Pumpkin and small pumpkin
2. carve small pumpkin
3. cut bottom out of big pumpkin
4. carve big pumpkin
5. mount small pumpkin on bottom
6. adjust mount height for proper display

not much more difficult than carving two pumpkins.

We did ours Tuesday night-my 8 yr old DD wouldn't touch the pumpkin guts so just told me to make a scary jack-o-lantern face....

My 6 yr old DD was all into it-scooping everything out herself She is obsessed with kitties so you can tell which one is hers....

I love looking at these!! I never even got pumpkins this year!!
I may stop and find one right after work tomorrow so there is at least a pumpkin sitting on the step even if its NOT carved!!
