Cartoon Versions of yourself?

Can anyone tell me where I can make a cartoon version of DF and I for our newsletters and stuff? Ive seen a few DisBrides with them and love them..where do I make my own? TIA!

I made ours in Illustrator.

Another option if you don't have the program or have never used it, is to go on etsy, I think there are some vendors who will do one for you. Try searching for "bride groom illustration", "bride groom caricature" and "Custom bride groom illustration".

If you have access to Adobe design programs but aren't that great at drawing, you can buy a vector image from a website like istockphoto and customize it yourself (hair color, eye, color, etc.) Or just buy one that already kind of looks like you and place it on a custom background.

I know some of the girls designed themselves or had their DFs do it. I'd also try the creativity community section of the DIS, or even etsy. We had a custom comic book cover made for our invitations, but I'm sure someone there would be willing to draw just regular cartoon versions at a reasonable price.

Thanks for your help girls! I have found a trial of Illustrator and downloaded it. I have saved a vector image fromthe site you gave but i cant figure out how to change the boy's hair color or my eye color? I keep selecting the color tool and the actual color but nothing is happening..i think i may be a failure! lol if you have any helpful hints, let me know. if not, thanks for the thoughts!

Click on the area you want to change with the arrow tool to highlight it then click on the colour you want to change it to. It should then change. Give me a shout if you need any help as i use illustrator for my job.

Im still perfecting, not totally happy with it. I keep messing up. I may try copying and pasting someones else's into paint or something and fixing what I need too...but i dont want to steal someones hardwork make somebody angry..i may give up if i have to spend too much more time on this!
