Carthay Lounge: Fried Biscuits?

Is it possible to order the fried biscuits at the Lounge/Bar at Carthay Circle? I don't see them on the menu. Has anyone had any luck?

I believe others have reported back that you can only order the fried biscuits in the restaurant and not the lounge.

Sadly, you cannot get the biscuits in the Lounge. I've asked at the Lounge a few times and they've always said that you have to dine at the restaurant to order the biscuits.

I've always wondered why that is? They would obviously make a ton of money if they offered them in the lounge!

I don't know either...I figured it had something to do with either the labor needed to make them or perhaps they want to keep the Lounge and Restaurant menus separate. I've been told that you cannot order food items from the Lounge menu in the restaurant and vice-a-versa.

Early on, during our first visit to the restaurant, a couple next to us tried to order the kids hot dog entree from the lounge. The waiter replied that the kitchens were separate and it wasn't possible.

I'm not sure how true that is, but it would be an explanation.

The kitchens are separate and that is why the menus are different. The lounge kitchen is smaller and the menu reflects that. But even without the biscuits, the lounge menu has some pretty tasty offerings!

The issue is the fryer for the biscuits is located upstairs and not available downstairs. They do not want servers carrying hot food on the stairs. I have been lobbing for them in the lounge. I "kinda" got my way once when I had Dis friends dining upstairs who ordered an extra order for me, had it boxed immediately, and my daughter ran up to get it and bring it down for us.
