Carthay Circle WOC question?

ok finally! I have an update for this...now why I didnt think to look for it I will never know but I mentioned all this to a friend of mine and she directed me to the Disneyland website for Dining WOC.....in this link it clearly states....

Lunch

First and second show lunch packages:

11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., first show

2:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., second show

Dinner

First and second show dinner packages:

4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., first show

7:05 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., second show

so mystery has been solved...if you want a specific show, you need to book your times according to the above...

here is the link:

The way I read that webpage is that those times specifically refer to WCT. There's nothing on that page about CCT. They no longer show Ariel's Grotto for WOC, but they haven't added CCT information yet.

That is exactly what I was told when I called yesterday and asked about kids.

What I also found interesting is that I could not make a reservation for 6:00 pm. It had to be 5:40 or 6:20. I said "Wow, they are already booked?!?" (I was calling at 7:06 am PT 2 months out for the Wed after Labor Day for a party of 4, seemed unlikely they were booked already.) The CM said "No, they just don't do 6pm reservations". So not sure how they schedule, but that seems a bit odd to me.

I asked for a 7pm reservation because I wanted FP's to the second show. I was told the earliest they could do was 7:10. It was the same as you said, though, the CM told me they didn't do a 7pm reservation that night (7/17)

thats very true and i saw that as well...but based upon what others have been saying by the time slots they have had lunch/dinner, it seems as though this is standard for WOC dining regardless whether you dine at WCT or CCT...maybe they just havent updated the website to include CCT yet??? :confused3

ok this is driving me crazy:lmao:...so i called and Bay Girl you are right...this is only for the WCT.....however, the cm I spoke with told me that because the first show is so popular, they usually have a lot of tickets for 2nd show and a manager at the restaurant itself told them that if anyone wants the second show they can come in for lunch or dinner and request them and they will be given to them....but when I told her how much confusion has been going around and people are being told that they have to go after 7 she called over to the restaurant and spoke with a manager named Joy who stated as of right now, if you want the second show, regardless of what time of day you dine, as long as you do the appetizer/dessert and entree you can request second show...if you go to eat after 7 pm though, it will be automatic 2nd show

Weird, this site IS updated with the CCT times. Its on the Dining tab on the WOC page under Entertainment:

what???:scared1:OMG they just updated that...it wasnt there before i swear...but we have a manager name who said that we could get it:lmao:

Do you guys think there's any possibility that they may run out of fast passes for any of the shows? Do they hand them out at the end of the meal? I'm new at making any dining reservations and I'd hate for poor planning to cause me to miss the show. :scared:

We went to Carthay Circle last week. The food is delicious.

Anyone know yet if there are special "kids" appetizers or desserts--or if they have to order one off the adult menu?

There are kids' desserts, like ice cream.

Do you know if their biscuits count as an appetizer that will go towards WOC FP?

This is what I want to know also. It seems like it should since you have to order them as an item. This will probably make the difference if we get WOC tickets or not. We want to try the biscuits but we can't eat those AND two other apps AND our entrees. If those don't count, then we'll just go get our random FPs and try for blue.

The biscuits count. We ordered them as one of our appetizers on Sunday. The kids also have special appetizers and desserts and the desserts look yummy. We had lunch there and got FPs for the 9:00 show. We got there about 8:00 and had rail seats about 3 tiers up.

3 tiers up so like could you see over the ppl down in front or were you right up front? was it in the center stage?

Also would any one be willing to get price of the kids deserts or appetizers?

Good! Then I think we'll get the duck wings and biscuits! :thumbsup2
Anyone know if the Kobe sliders are still there? They aren't listed on the All Ears menu anymore.

Speaking of All Ears- you can check the kids prices there. Apps and desserts seem to run around $5 while entrees are in the $10 or little more range.

The day after CCT opened we did the WOC dining package and showed up about 20 minutes prior to the show and got GREAT seats.

The biscuits are delicious and definitely do count. I also think that they are one of the better values on the menu.

As for the times, the official rules are as posted; however, if you need to have the later show time when dining earlier, they will try to work with you.
